Armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces opened fire on the positions of our troops using weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements, namely 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars. They also used grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “EAST,” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions 5 times:
Three times near VODIANE, 2 times from the direction of UZHIVKA – using 82-mm caliber mortars, tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, and small arms, and once from the direction of PIKUZA – using small arms;
Near SHROKYNE from the direction of SAKHANKA – using small arms;
In the vicinity of AVDIIVKA from the direction of SPARTAK – using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, a large caliber machine gun, and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “NORTH,” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions 2 times:
Near LUHANSKE from the direction of LOHVYNOVE – using a large-caliber machine gun;.
Near the village of NOVOOLEKSANDRIVKA from the direction of KALYNOVE-BORSHCHUVATE – using 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars, grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, and a large-caliber machine gun.
As a result of the enemy fire, one Ukrainian serviceman was killed, one was wounded. Our units responded adequately to each case of fire opened by the Russian Federation troops. The adversary’s casualties are being investigated.
Over July 14, armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire regime 19 times. Of these, 6 times the fire was opened using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, namely 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars. The adversary also fired on our defenders using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
The disturbing facts of opening fire were documented near the towns and villages of SHYROKYNE, NOVOTROYITSKE, BOHDANIVKA, KRASNOHORIVKA, MARYINKA, VODIANE, LEBEDYNSKE, PAVLOPIL, KRYMSKE, ZAITSEVE, NOVOLUHANSKE, and POPASNA.
On July 14, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces have uncovered 1 case of aggravated assault and battery, 3 thefts, 1 case of illegal firearms trade and 8 cases of illegal narcotics possession. Eight persons were arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to the judicial organs. Fifteen misdemeanors were documented.
Yesterday, more than 20,000 persons and 2,600 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces through the points of controlled entry. Seventeen thousand and one hundred persons and 2,100 vehicles exited through the same points. Thirty-three persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.
