Armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces opened fire on the position of our troops using weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements, namely, 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars, and also using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, anti-tank missile systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “EAST,” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions 3 times:
Near OPYTNE from the direction of VESELE – using 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars;
Near NOVOTROYITSKE from the direction of DOKUCHAYEVSK – using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, a large-caliber machine gun, and small arms;
In the vicinity of VERKHNYOTORETSKE from the direction of MYKHAYLIVKA – using a tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launcher, an anti-tank missile system, and a large-caliber machine gun.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “NORTH,” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions once:
Near KRYMSKE from the direction of SLOVYANOSERBSK – using an 82-mm caliber mortar, a large-caliber machine gun, and small arms.
The enemy fire did not result in casualties on our side. Our units responded adequately to each case of fire opened by the Russian Federation troops. The adversary’s casualties are being investigated.
Over July 15, the armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire regime 17 times. Of these, 6 times the ceasefire regime was violated with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, namely, 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars. The adversary also opened fire using grenade launchers of the various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
The facts of disturbing enemy fire were documented near the towns and villages of VODIANE, SHYROKYNE, AVDIIVKA, LEBEDYNSKE, PAVLOPIL, KRASNOHORIVKA, LUHANSKE, NOVOOLEKSANDRIVKA, POPASNA, and KRYMSKE.
On July 15, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting in the area as parts of the Joint Forces operation have uncovered 2 cases of aggravated assault and battery, 5 thefts, 1 case of fraud, 2 facts of illegal firearms trade, and 19 cases of illegal narcotics possession. One person was arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to the judicial organs. Twenty-eight misdemeanors were documented.
Yesterday, more than 21,000 persons and 2,300 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces through the points of controlled entry. Nineteen thousand and eight hundred persons and 2,300 vehicles exited through the same points. Thirty-nine persons were denied the right to pass the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative organs and the judicial organs in the area of the operation worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.
