From the beginning of the current date, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been strictly adhering to the ceasefire regime, while the armed units from the Russian Federation and their local mercenaries have been violating the current ban on the use of all arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactic force “NORTH,” the adversary fired at the positions of the Joint Forces:
Near LUHANSKE village from the direction of NUZHNYE LOZOVE – with various grenade launcher types.
No casualties on the Ukrainian side were reported.
On July 29, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been strictly adhering to the ceasefire regime.
On the other hand, the armed units from the Russian Federation and their local mercenaries have violated the ceasefire regime 3 times. Of these, one time they used the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, namely, an 82-mm caliber mortar. The adversary also opened fire with the use of a jet-propelled anti-infantry flame thrower and a heavy machine gun.
The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near KAMYANKA, HNUTOVE, and VODIANE villages.
One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in a blast of unknown explosive device installed by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group.
On July 29, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces have uncovered 1 case of aggravated assault and battery, 13 thefts, 1 case of hooliganism, 2 facts of illegal firearms trade, and 8 facts of illegal narcotics possession. Five persons were arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the armed units from the Russian Federation and their local mercenaries and were transferred to the judicial organs. Twenty-one misdemeanors were documented.
Yesterday, more than 19,000 persons and 2,100 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces through the points of controlled entry. Nineteen thousand and five hundred persons and 2,300 vehicles exited through the same points. Twenty-nine persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces. The Joint Forces are ready to fulfill their tasks!
