From the time 00:00 of July 5, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime 14 times.
Units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces opened fire on the positions of our troops using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, namely 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars. They also used grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, sniper rifles, and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “EAST,” the adversary opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces six times:
Near the village of VODIANE, from the direction of UZHIVKA – using a sniper rifle;
Near BOHDANIVKA, from the direction of PETRIVSKE – using a large-caliber machine gun and small arms;
In the vicinity of NOVOTROITSKE, from the direction of DOKUCHAIEVSK – using a tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launcher, and a large-caliber machine gun;
Near the village of MYKOLAYIVKA, from the direction of DOKUCHAIEVSK – using a large-caliber machine gun;
In the vicinity of SHYROKYNE, from the direction of BEZIMENNE – using a 120-mm caliber mortar;
Near MARYINKA, from the direction of OLEKSANDRIVKA – using a large-caliber machine gun.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “NORTH,” the adversary opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces 8 times:
Near the village of KRYMSKE, from the directions of SLOVYANOSERBSK and DONETSKE, 3 times – using 82-mm caliber mortars, tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns;
Near NOVOTOSHKIVSKE, from the direction of DONETSKE – using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, and a large-caliber machine gun;
Near NOVOLUHANSKE, from the direction of DOLOMITNE, 3 times – using 82-mm caliber mortars and weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry;
In the vicinity of ZOLOTE-4, from the direction of PERVOMAYSKE – using 120-mm and 82-mm caliber mortars.
As a result of enemy’s fire, one Ukrainian military service person was wounded, and four got combat-related traumas. Our troops adequately responded to each case of fire opened by the troops of the Russian Federation Armed Forces. The adversary’s casualties are being investigated.

The adversary also opened fire on our defenders using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, anti-aircraft artillery systems, large-caliber machine guns, sniper rifles, and small arms.
The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near the villages and towns of OPYTNE, LEBEDYNSKE, BEREZOVE, PISKY, AVDIIVKA, VODIANE, MARYINKA, KRASNOHORIVKA, SHYROKYNE, NOVHORODSKE, KRYMSKE, NOVOTOSHKIVSKE, LUHANSKE, POPASNA, PIVDENNE, NOVOLUHANSKE, KHUTIR VILNY, and ZOLOTE-4.
On July 4, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces have uncovered 5 cases of theft, 2 cases of hooliganism, 1 case of fraud, and 8 case of illegal possession of narcotic substances. Thirteen persons were arrested on the suspicion of participating in the activities of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to the judicial organs. Seventeen cases of misdemeanor were documented.
Yesterday, more than 18,000 persons and 2,200 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces through points of controlled entry. Eighteen thousand two hundred persons and 2,200 vehicles exited the jurisdiction through the same points. Thirty-seven persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs in the area of the operations worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.
