Over August 6, the armed units from the Russian Federation and the Russian mercenaries have violated the ceasefire regime 4 times.
The enemy fired at our units’ positions with weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, various grenade launcher types, and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactic force “EAST,” the adversary fired at the Joint Forces’ positions 3 times:
Near BOHDANIVKA village from the direction of PETRIVSKE village – with weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, a stationary anti-tank grenade launcher, and small arms;
Near PAVLOPIL village, twice, from the direction of UKRAYINSKE and VERKHNYOSHYROKIVSKE village – with a portable anti-tank grenade launcher and a heavy machine gun, respectively.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactic force “NORTH,” the adversary fired at the Joint Forces’ positions once:
Near TRAVNEVE village from the direction of DOLOMITNE village – with an automated grenade launcher, and small arms.
As a result of the enemy fire, four Ukrainian servicemen were killed and one wounded.
On August 5, the Joint Forces’ units strictly adhered to the ceasefire regime.
On the other hand, the armed units from the Russian Federation and the Russian mercenaries have violated the moratorium on the use of all arms twice. The adversary fired at our defenders with small arms.
The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near VODIANE and PIVDENNE villages.
On August 5, representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces’ have uncovered 7 thefts, 3 cases of fraud, and 10 cases of illegal narcotics possession. Thirteen cases of misdemeanor were documented.
Yesterday, more than 18,000 persons and 2,300 vehicles entered the Joint Forces’ jurisdiction through points of the controlled entry. Sixteen thousand and 800 persons and 2,100 vehicles exited through the same points. Thirty-five persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.
