Units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces opened fire on the positions of our troops using weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements, namely 82-mm caliber mortars, and also using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, and large-caliber machine guns.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “EAST” the adversary opened fire on the positions of Joined Forces three times:
Two times near the village of MARYINKA, from the direction of TRUDIVSKE and OLEKSANDRIVKA – using 82-mm caliber mortars, automated grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns;
Near LEBEDYNSKE, from the direction of SAKHANKA – using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, and a large-caliber machine gun.
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “NORTH” the adversary opened fire on the positions of Joined Forces three times:
Near NOVOLUHANSKE, from the direction of DOLOMITNE – using 82-mm caliber mortars;
Twice in the vicinity of NOVOLUHANSKE, from the direction of DOLOMITNE – using 82-mm caliber mortars.
As a result of the enemy fire, one Ukrainian serviceperson received a combat-related trauma. Our units returned fire each time they were fired on. The adversary’s casualties are yet to be reported.
Over July 1, the units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire regime 25 times. Of them, 13 violations were with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, namely, 82-mm and 120-mm caliber mortars. The adversary also fired at the positions of our defenders using grenade launchers of the various systems, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near villages and towns of AVDIIVKA, MARYINKA, VODIANE, NOVOSELIVKA-2, LEBEDYNSKE, OPYTNE, PISKY, NOVOLUHANSKE, NOVOOLEKSANDRIVKA, LUHANSKE, ZAITSEVE, NOVOTOSHKIVSKE, KRYMSKE, NOVHORODSKE.
On July 1, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting with the Joined Forces have revealed 7 thefts, 4 cases of fraud, 3 instances of unlawful possession of a vehicle, and 3 cases of unlawful possession of illicit drugs. Four persons were arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to judicial organs. Twenty-eight misdemeanors were documented.
Yesterday, more than 21,000 persons and 2,400 vehicles have entered the jurisdiction of the Joined Forces through the controlled points of entry. Nineteen thousand persons and 2,400 vehicles have exited through the same points. Thirty-five persons were denied the right to pass the demarcation line.
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joined Forces.
