Russian KAMAZ truck based AP-2 Mobile Dressing Room observed in Yasynuvata.
Avdiivka Industrial Area still remains the flash point of the occupied Donbas. Not surprisingly, the Russian occupation troops placed their AP-2 mobile dressing room, which is built on the KAMAZ-43114 chassis, in the immediate vicinity (2-3 km) of this industrial zone.

Mobile surgical facility Avtoperevyazochnaya is built on all-wheel drive KAMAZ-43114, KAMAZ-43118, “Ural-4320″or similar truck chassis using a sealed cargo box with interior mounts for various equipment and manufactured to military standards.
It is designed to provide first medical aid to wounded, victims of WMDs and in extreme situations like natural or man-made disasters, as well as accidents involving the release of harmful chemicals into the atmosphere (in this specific case, due to intense fighting and Russian aggression against Ukraine – author’s note).
The equipment of the mobile surgical facility allows:
- triage of wounded and injured;
- primary surgical wound treatment;
- stopping massive bleeding from blood vessels and internal organs;
- intense anti-shock therapy;
- emergency resuscitation;
- preparing the wounded for transportation and evacuation.
The facility is equipped with self-contained life support systems – electricity, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, emergency power supply, lighting, oxygen supply – allowing continuous reception of victims over unlimited periods of time.
Each mobile surgical facility is equipped with two wireframe or inflatable rapid assembly modules that dock to the van and play the roles of triage and evacuation rooms.
The modules are also equipped with the equipment necessary to create comfortable conditions for the wounded.

The AP-2 is located in the yard of Ukragropromstroy Agrospetsmontazhnik construction company (panoramio photo).
The lower part of the building is tiled with black and red marble and is an exact match for the wall seen in Russian militants’ photographs.
The truck’s plate number is DK 6405, where DK means Donetsk Corps of Russian occupation troops in Donbas.
Note the fresh paintwork – the truck as well as the tent and the stretcher are all brand new, they came straight from the factory. It would be impossible to “wrestle away” something like this from the Ukrainian army.
Note that Russian occupiers have been using this place and its surrounding area at least since the beginning of 2015.
February 2015 – the satellite picture shows many troop transport trucks with tarp-covered beds. All subsequent pictures in Google Earth Pro also show other equipment, but until May of 2015 these pictures recorded mostly troop transports.
Pictures from inside the building in 2015
The pictures available on TerraServer don’t record any accumulation of military equipment between September and October 2015. Unfortunately, at this time there are no more recent pictures of this location publicly available. But recent photographs taken by Russian militants at the same place show the accumulation of military equipment again.
As a bonus, we provide a picture (summer 2016) from the anonymous “InformNapalm community” satellite, which shows both the brand new AP-2 surgery and other military vehicles under tarpaulin covers, just like in the photo above.
