Chechens from the 1st Battalion of the 18th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (former battalion “Vostok”) were seen in Balaclava. They are set out to defend the seized objects. Recall that this division is formally a part of the brigade but in reality they are patronized by the Southern Military District Command and curated by the GRU.
