On April 30, 2017, the city of Lataminah in the north of Hama province was heavily bombed by the Russian Air Force. A Su-25 aircraft bombed a residential area of the city (more details here).
On May 3, a video was recorded showing an air strike by a so-called barrel bomb, which are used by the Syrian Air Force, at Lataminah in the area of the water tower. It should be noted that a female high school (red number 1 on the map) and a private clinic (red number 2 on the map) are located next to the water tower.
