    Military Operations

For the whole morning of September 12, the Russian-terrorists forces conducted maneuvers in the Petrovskyi district of the City of Donetsk in preparation for an attack on the airport. After firing heavy caliber guns towards Krasnohorivka, one of the guns was disabled from return fire from Ukrainian forces. It is believed that the vehicle chassis of the artillery piece has been damaged.

Just before 20:00 the enemy forces started a full-scale assault on the airport of Donetsk. At the same time the terrorists actively use heavy artillery, which most likely was brought to Donetsk in order to destroy the airport. Simultaneously, the terrorist began to move heavy equipment closer to Zhdanivka, and people in Makiivka reported the sound of the enemy convoys. In the near future there will most likely be an attempt to sweep the area of Ukrainian troops.

In Horlivka, terrorists have started manoeuvres in the direction of Dzerzhynsk. In the afternoon their activity was spotted in the neighborhood of Kurhanka, reports from the area indicated movement of a large number of terrorist infantry with assault rifles. By the evening, vehicles were also observed moving in that direction.

On the maps of the pro-terrorist supports, encirclements can be seen in the Debaltseve area. However after the Ilovaisk disaster the ATO command created conditions that will prevent the complete `locking-off’ of their forces in this area. The Ukrainian forces in Debaltseve and Bryanka have sufficient equipment for their defense

The Russian-LNR terrorists continue preparation for an attack out of Slovyanoserbsk and Luhansk in order to surround Shchastya.

In the south of Donetsk, the Russian and terrorists forces have suffered setbacks and numerous failures. ATO forces were not been able to knock them back to the Russian border, but they have made significant progress. The lack of effectiveness of the Russian forces in this area is partially due to their concentration of forces in Donetsk itself.

A Strange Situation on the Border of Crimea

At the border gate to the occupied territory of Crimea people have seen new developments. In and around Dzhankoy the armoured vehicles are no longer visible, and almost all border guards are now women. The presence of men is practically not observed, not even on the observation platforms. The reason for this strange change is not yet clear yet. Perhaps all men were sent to conduct terrorist activities in Ukraine, or it’s a clumsy attempt of the RF’s Border Guard to relieve the tension of annoyed Crimeans, who up to now have been continually subjected to foreign Caucasian Border Guards.

Even in the most pro-Russian Crimean city Sevastopol more and more people have started to think that Putin is guilty in all the problems. Perhaps this is a turning point in people’s minds?

Major Developments Related to the War in Ukraine

Ukraine’s plans to relieve the pressure on its borders with the Russian Federation, with a huge wall similar to the Israeli separation barrier, seriously alarmed the State Duma of the Federation of enslaved peoples.

The Russian Government has already started to write a complaint to the World Wildlife Fund, supposing such construction might damage migration patterns of “wild animals.” The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 100 million UAH for the construction of the “Wall”. Overall, we consider this initiative as desperately needed for protecting the Ukrainian population from Russian terrorism. Such a terror from Russia, which is on the verge of open invasion across Ukraine, requires that the separation barrier should consist not only of concrete, but also must be equipped with high-precision weapons and fortifications to prevent interference attempts of the enemy by troops and heavy weapons.

    “Hanged Girkin”

As soon as the head of terrorists Igor Girkin  appeared in Moscow at the press briefing and stated that the agreement reached in Minsk leads to the “shameful and the complete defeat of New Russia”, he was “buried” by hindsight. Many webpages carried the news, that allegedly on September 10, Colonel Girkin was found hanged in the center of Rostov-on-Don. Russia is a wonderland. There a person cannot just be fired, but he can be threatened for criticism of the authorities, at least to talk about it in media.

    Reforms during the War

On September 12, speaking at the 11th Annual Meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kiev, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves said that Ukraine could become a pioneer in the implementation of reforms during a war period. In parallel with this, the president of European commission Jose Manuel Baroso stated that the EU is ready to provide financial support to Ukraine in October and the country will receive another 760 million Euros to implement reforms. This is a signal that the tactics of delaying full-scale conflict by preventing the rupture of diplomatic relations with Russia and by declaring Ukraine in a state of war is bringing some results. Every day the sanctions erode the economy of the RF and in this case, while the international community will continue financial support to Ukraine, time will play on our side. The use of heavy type weapons and aircraft, and implementing the front wave of mobilization can be carried out without the declaration of war. Such approaches of course are new in world history, but it is a necessary measure, which can be considered effective.
