The Ukraine Freedom Support Act, or S.2828, will designate Ukraine as a …major non-NATO ally, reduce dependence on Russian gas, and provide assistance to Ukraine for the military and refugees WITHOUT putting our boots on the ground. This has the power to stop the war.

Telling congressional representatives that they should support the bill is the most important thing we can do for Ukraine right now!

Simple message script:
“Dear Representative ______,
My name is (your first and last name) and my address is (your mailing address).
I ask you to support Ukraine by including the entire S.2828 in this year’s Continuing Resolution. Thank you.”

Our mission is to assure that, come Monday morning, their office telephones are flooded with our voice messages.

Bills go through several steps to get passed in Congress. At each point, we call our congressmen to keep their attention! We will guide you at each step. With you on our team, we can push the Ukraine Freedom Support Act (S.2828) forward to passing!

*** First Step: We call the House Representatives, asking them to sign Representative Marcy Kaptur’s letter to include S.2828 in the Continuing Resolution – S.2828 in its entirety, without modifications. We need 30 signatures ASAP to take the bill to the next step.

Second Step: We call to send the bill through the Appropriations Committee.

Third Step: We call to send the bill through the Rules Committee.

Fourth Step: We call to vote for the bill and pass it!
