Several scouts of the 7th military base of the Russian Ministry of Defense, who participated in the aggression against Ukraine in August – September, 2014, have been identified.<\/p>\n

Based on the results of a new OSINT-investigation by InformNapalm\u00a0 volunteer intelligence community, we were able to identify a group of Russian war criminals – soldiers of the reconnaissance battalion and the sniper company of the 7th<\/sup> military base (military unit 09332, Georgia, city of Gudauta, occupied Abkhazia, 49th<\/sup> Army of the Southern Military District of Russian Armed Forces) that in August – September 2014 and later in 2015 were attached to the battalion tactical groups (BTG) that took part in the fighting in the Donbas.<\/p>\n

IN recently investigated some artillery men of this unit: 21 of 35: Russian artillerymen of the 7th Military Base involved in shelling of Ukraine identified<\/a>, and published an article about a scout from the same base named Finogin, who was deployed to the illegal armed formation of “DNR”: Russian scout from 7th<\/sup> Military Base given away by Bull Terrier from Horlivka.<\/a><\/p>\n

The operational record of the 7th<\/sup> military base\u2019s BTG that fought in the Donbas in the summer and fall of 2014 was established and described by us earlier<\/a>. We found that before the deployment to Eastern Ukraine, from late spring to mid-summer of 2014 the BTG conducted combat training at the Ashuluk training range in Astrakhan Oblast, and from there it was relocated first to Rostov Oblast and later to the Donbas.<\/p>\n

This information is once again confirmed by the dates of the pictures found on the pages of the war criminals of the Gudauta base.<\/p>\n

  1. Sergei Mironov<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Born on 07\/05\/1985 in Pugachyov, Saratov Oblast. Currenty serving under contract at the 7th<\/sup> military base with the rank of sergeant. In social networks: VK<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, album, contacts), Odnoklassniki<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, main<\/a> album and the album Rostov<\/a>, contacts<\/a>).<\/p>\n

    Mironov has several albums, including the ones named \u201cAbkhazia\u201d, \u201cAshuluk\u201d and \u201cRostov\u201d. The most valuable, of course, is the latter, where in September 2014 he posted photos of the first “Rostov-Ukrainian mission” of the BTG of the 7th<\/sup> military base. Those are pretty candid shots from the Donbas that show Mironov both alone and in groups (in some of them Mironov is marked with a red arrow), where some other soldiers were also identified. There are all the attributes of “rebellious miners”: non-statutory uniform, unkempt appearance with a “brutal” beard, disguised equipment, tourniquets over rifle butts, zeroing of a non-standard Mosin sniper rifle that dates back to WWI and WWII, and more. There are many pictures of another, spring raid of the tactical group to Rostov Oblast \u2013 this time in statutory uniforms.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      In Avilov\u2019s photo album there is a photo of the same series as posted by Mironov, showing the zeroing of a non-standard SVM, which was posted much later, in February 2016. Avilov himself was identified in several group photos (marked with a blue arrow) posted on Mironov\u2019s page.<\/p>\n

        Born on May 2, year unknown, in the town of Vyatskiye Polyany in Kirov Oblast. Since 2013, serving under contract at the 7th<\/sup> military base. He served his compulsory military duty in the 31st<\/sup> Air Assault Brigade (military unit 85955, Ulyanovsk) in 2008-2010.           Born on 3\/31\/1991 in Tyumen. Since 2013, serving under contract at the 7th<\/sup> military base. In October 2016 he extended<\/a> the contract. He apparently served his compulsory military duty in the 14th<\/sup> Separate Special Purpose Brigade of GRU (military unit 74854, Khabarovsk) in 2010. In social networks: VK1<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), VK2<\/a>, under the name of Adam Horosh (archives of the profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), Odnoklassniki<\/a>.<\/p>\n

          In the Kiselyov\u2019s photo album there is a number of pictures from 2014, including some from the Ashuluk training range and a photo from “the Ukrainian business trip” – a snapshot of a convoy on the move clearly not in Astrakhan Oblast or the mountainous Abkhazia. He poses hiding his face under a balaclava and wearing hunting camouflage on the march. There are also several suspicious looking shots with hints of a \u201cbusiness trip\u201d and the status of a combat veteran. In addition, Kiselev was identified in a group photo (marked by a yellow arrow) posted by Mironov.<\/p>\n

          1. Ivan Prokudin<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            <\/p>\n

            Born in 1994 in the village of Kochubeevskoe, Stavropol Kray. He is presumed to be currently serving under contract at the 7th<\/sup> military base. In social networks: VK<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), Odnoklassniki<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), under the pseudonym Ivan Slepakov \u2013 VK<\/a> (archives of the profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>).<\/p>\n

            In his photo album, Prokudin has a number of shots from 2014 and 2015, including Abkhazia and Ashuluk training range, with Mironov posing next to him (marked by the brown arrow). There is also a group photo of the period of “Ukrainian business trips” with eight Russian servicemen wearing white identification bands and non-statutory uniforms in the style of “rebellious miners\u201d. The image was uploaded to VK on 12\/23\/2014 with the commentary “Around August 27 …<\/a>“, in the Odnoklassniki it was uploaded on 9\/11\/2016.<\/p>\n

            Note: This group photo featured<\/a> in an early investigation by IN. At that time it was taken from the profile of another soldier of the 7th<\/sup> military base, Vyacheslav Gaidukov, whose personal data were posted<\/a> in the database “Purgatory” of the Peacemaker center.<\/p>\n

            In addition to the aforementioned “veterans” of the Russian invasion in the Donbas, we also identified other scouts from the 7th<\/sup> military base, who, based on various clues, also appear to be participants of “Rostov-Ukrainian mission” in 2014.<\/p>\n

            1. Aleksandr Krivosheev<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              <\/p>\n

              The person with the Order of Courage<\/a>, posing with two other soldiers in the barracks of the 7th<\/sup> military base in a picture in Prokudin\u2019s album, was identified by the name tag on his chest. This is Aleksandr Krivosheev<\/a>, his page in VK<\/a> is removed. We found out that he is an old-timer contractor at this base, a native of Orenburg. In 2011 he served in the 1st<\/sup> Battalion of the same military unit.<\/p>\n

              1. Evgeniy Nikitchenko<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                <\/p>\n

                Born on 09\/10\/1989 in Volgodonsk, Rostov Oblast. He appears to be currently serving under contract at the 7th<\/sup> military base.                 Nikitchenko\u2019s photo albums contain a number of shots from 2013-2015 – both from Abkhazia and pre-Ukrainian training at the Ashuluk range. In June 2015, he loaded the photo with an award certificate to the Medal of Suvorov<\/a>.<\/p>\n

                Note: Order of Courage and Medal of Suvorov are state awards for combat distinctions. Based on IN observations, Russian servicemen were often awarded them after “Ukrainian business trips”. About 10 soldiers-awardees of the 7th<\/sup> military base are registered in the database Award stigma of war criminals from the Russian Army<\/a>.<\/p>\n

                1. Vladimir Gorbachenko<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

There is also a picture uploaded in September 2014, where Corbachenko has a non-statutory beard and is playing the role of a militant of “Novorossia” somewhere in the steppes of the Donbas.<\/p>\n

                  The military base also includes a so-called aviation command office providing ground support for periodic flights of the Russian Airforce planes to the airfield in Gudauta; an anti-aircraft missile regiment (formerly the 100th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment, military unit 90100), consisting of 2 SAM battalions in Agudzera and Primorskoye, which have 8 units of S-300 SAM\u2019s on combat alert (make part of the so-called anti-aircraft battalion group of the 7th military base). The base also has an electronic technical unit with alert facilities deployed on the airfield of Sukhumi Babushara Airport.<\/p>\n

In addition, in accordance with an agreement on joint armed forces between the Russian Federation and unrecognized Republic of Abkhazia signed in Moscow on November 21, 2015, two mechanized infantry battalions, artillery and aviation groups, as well as a separate special operations group have been attached by Abkhazia to the 7th Military Base.<\/p>\n

                  Judging by the number of IN’s publications mentioning military unit 09332 (including the last 25th<\/sup> episode), 7th<\/sup> Russian occupation base broke all previous records and it is the most belligerent armed Russian unit in Ukraine. Read more:<\/p>\n
