The Russians demonstrate how they seized the \u201cBoyko\u2019s rigs\u201d three years ago: from May 24 through May 29, 2017, 2,000 troops of the special forces of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) exercise the seizure of Ukrainian oil rigs and towing vessels under the guise of carrying out an anti-terrorist operation.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0RIA Novosti<\/a>, the culmination of the “exercises” on May 29 will be maneuvers in the immediate vicinity of the border with Ukraine.\u00a0The residents of Odesa and Mariupol are probably very concerned about such plans.<\/p>\n

“Boyko’s rigs” in the InformNapalm investigations<\/h2>\n

InformNapalm international intelligence community conducted four OSINT investigations on the illegal armed seizure of two self-lifting drilling rigs of ChernomorNaftoGaz Company, Petro Hodovanets and Ukraine, known as the Boyko\u2019s rigs.\u00a0Volunteers found that servicemen from the\u00a0104th Paratrooper Regiment<\/a>\u00a0of the 76th Russian Paratrooper Division took part in the capture of the Ukrainian oil rigs. The oil drill platforms were moved<\/a> from the Odessa shelf gas field accompanied by a convoy of the FSB boats and a missile boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.\u00a0The protection of the rigs was carried out by servicemen of the 25th Separate Spetsnaz GRU Regiment together with the servicemen from the 810th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The duty service at the platforms was carried out by servicemen of the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet.<\/p>\n

Not an exercise, but a demonstration of the seizure of Ukrainian property<\/h2>\n

On May 26, 2017, Krym. Realii<\/a>\u00a0posted a video story that stated that \u201cspecial forces units of the FSB of Russia are conducting an anti-terrorist exercise in the territory of annexed Crimea.\u201d From another\u00a0video from RIA Novosti<\/a>,\u00a0you can clear understand that the exercise took place on the Ukrainian drilling rig\u00a0B-312 Petro Hodovanets<\/strong>, which the Russians renamed\u00a0“Crimea-2”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frankly speaking, this is not a military exercise, but a demonstration of the seizure of Ukrainian property.
