Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree dismissing a number of high-ranking officers of the\u00a0Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP), the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the\u00a0Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN).\u00a0The decree was\u00a0published<\/a> on July 6,\u00a0on the Russian official portal of legal information.<\/p>\n

Eight generals were immediately released from their posts by the decree: the\u00a0first deputy head of the\u00a0 Ministry of Internal Affairs\u2019 transport department, Major General of police\u00a0Andrey Andreev<\/strong>, the head of the control and audit department in the Ministry of Internal Affairs Major General of internal service Yevgeny Barikaev<\/strong>, the head of the Main Department of Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Major General Andrei Zalensky<\/strong>,\u00a0the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kemerovo Oblast, Lieutenant General of police\u00a0Yuri Larionov<\/strong>,\u00a0Interior Minister of the Republic of Tyva, Major General of police Alexander Lobanov<\/strong>,\u00a0the head of the Investigation Department, the deputy head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kemerovo Oblast, Major General of justice\u00a0Vladimir Shepel<\/strong>\u00a0, first deputy head of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General of justice\u00a0Yuri Shinin, a<\/strong>nd the\u00a0head of the Main Department of the Penitentiary Service in Rostov Oblast, Lieutenant General of internal service<\/strong> Sergey Smirnov.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russian FSIN left its trail in Donbas<\/h2>\n

Recall that the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service in Rostov Oblast was connected to a resonance investigation with photos and video showing the war crimes of an employee of this agency in eastern Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In March 2016, InformNapalm international intelligence community revealed information about\u00a0a serviceman of the Mangust Special Purpose Department of the FSIN in Rostov Oblast<\/a> who repeatedly visited Ukraine and participated in fighting in the Donbas.<\/p>\n

Photo and video materials that were used in the InformNapalm investigation, were exclusively provided by a group of hacktivists\u00a0FalconsFlame<\/a> which subsequently co-founded, together with other groups,\u00a0Ukrainian Cyber Alliance (UCA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The value of the received information is that most of the photographs extracted from the FSIN employee’s cell phone contained full EXIF data, including the exact date when the photos were taken.<\/p>\n
