recruitment activity in Russia for military service in the occupation troops in the Donbas. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The report states that the preference in the recruitment process is given to the persons with combat experience, including operations in Syria.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Siriya-Ukraina.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>InformNapalm reported previously on 16 different Russian military units that had deployed their servicemen on missions in both Ukrainian Donbas and Syria.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, servicemen of the following units are known to have participated in deployments to both areas of conflict:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baltic Fleet: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/15432-morpehy-336-brygady-hama\/\">336th Marine Brigade<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/31219-morskie-pehotintsy-879-go-odshb-v-sirii\/\">879th Airborne Battalion<\/a> of that brigade)<\/li>\n<li>Northern Fleet: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/28135-calvin-klein-fossil\/\">200th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/22902-tos-sdelal-svoe-delo-tos-mozhet-uhodit\/\">61st Marine Brigade<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Black Sea Fleet: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/22902-tos-sdelal-svoe-delo-tos-mozhet-uhodit\/\">810th Marine Brigade<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Western Military District: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/12284-novorossyjsk-syryjska-komandyrovka-vs-rf\/\">27th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/13461-solncepek-v-syria\/\">20th Regiment for Bio-Chemical Defense<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Eastern Military District: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/20929-artillerist-200\/\">200th Artillery Brigade<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Central Military District: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/21627-sirijskaya-komandirovka-21-j-omsbr\/\">21st Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/14956-28-aya-omsbr-v-syryy\/\">28th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/14481-novye-svydetelstva-uchastyya-vs-rf-v-nazemnoj-operatsyy-v-syryy\/\">74th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/23286-t90-siriya\/\">7th Armored Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/21530-120-ya-arbr-vs-rf\/\">120th Artillery Brigade<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Southern Military District: <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/18974-salma\/\">34th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/21594-gudauta-rostov-hmejmim\/\">7th Military Base<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/16398-vostok-delo-tonkoe\/\">291st Artillery Brigade<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/17448-po-sledam-66-j-brygady-svyazy\/\">66th Telecom Brigade<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this investigation, we continue to report on the origins of Russian troops involved in international conflicts.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2016, while researching Russian presence in Syria, volunteers of InformNapalm took notice of <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/9Vn5C\">Stanislav Mamoshin<\/a> (DOB: January 17, 1986), a serviceman from the Russian city of Krasnodar.<\/p>\n<p>The following photographs were uploaded in May 2016 and later deleted.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/mfLFs8LzXUQ-225x300.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/sqgqlMAIFpE-225x300.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some photographs demonstrate the lifestyle as dictated by the Russian military code of conduct, with alcohol and appetizers, at the Hmeimim Military Base.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/8AIL5u_CWLU-300x245.jpg\" width=\"251\" height=\"207\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/QjK_hE6ltKs-300x225.jpg\" width=\"275\" height=\"209\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A different social media account, also belonging to <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/ZSrUt\">Mamoshin<\/a>, offered information about his service in Maikop in 2004-2014, at the 573rd Separate Artillery Division, military unit 55030.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In January 2017, Mamoshin uploaded <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/7KLEW\">photos<\/a> captioned \u201cAbkhazia 2014\u201d that suggest his military service at the 7th Russian occupation Military Base.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin1-300x176.jpg\" width=\"314\" height=\"189\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin2-300x264.jpg\" width=\"221\" height=\"196\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In previous publications, we offered descriptions of adventures and criminal activities of Russian servicemen in Abkhazia, which included the story of <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/29616-razvedchika-s-7-j-v-bazy-sdal-bulterer\/\">Sergey Phinogin, an intelligence officer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a true collector of military photos, Mamoshin also posted his <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/3fC4I\">picture in the Donbas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin3-1024x627.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin4-1-300x204.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"118\" \/> Geolocation of the photo identifies the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com.ua\/maps\/place\/%D0%94%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B5%D1%86%D0%BA,+%D0%94%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B5%D1%86%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F+%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8C\/@48.0891885,37.7853024,369m\/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x40e0909500919a2d:0x36335ef\">Donetsk Severnyi railway depot<\/a>. This is also indirectly confirmed by the object in the background, a paint-and-dry chamber for railway cars.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Although the photo upload date is January 2017, this does not prove that the soldier arrived in the Donbas from Syria. It is possible that the photo was taken earlier, in 2015, when it was typical for the Russian occupation troops to wear white arm bands as a form of identification.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the Chief Intelligence Office suggestion that Russian troops with Syrian combat experience are deployed to the Donbas, their presence has not been verified yet. However, deployments in the opposite direction \u2013 to Syria after participating in combat in the Donbas \u2013 have been previously identified. 55030.\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin.jpg\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn January 2017, Mamoshin uploaded <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/7KLEW\">photos<\/a> captioned \u201cAbkhazia 2014\u201d that suggest his military service at the 7th Russian occupation Military Base.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin1-300x176.jpg\" width=\"314\" height=\"189\" \/><img class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin2-300x264.jpg\" width=\"221\" height=\"196\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn previous publications, we offered descriptions of adventures and criminal activities of Russian servicemen in Abkhazia, which included the story of <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/29616-razvedchika-s-7-j-v-bazy-sdal-bulterer\/\">Sergey Phinogin, an intelligence officer<\/a>.\r\n\r\nAs a true collector of military photos, Mamoshin also posted his <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/3fC4I\">picture in the Donbas<\/a>.\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Mamoshin3-1024x627.jpg\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignleft\" Severnyi railway depot<\/a>. This is also indirectly confirmed by the object in the background, a paint-and-dry chamber for railway cars.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nAlthough the photo upload date is January 2017, this does not prove that the soldier arrived in the Donbas from Syria. It is possible that the photo was taken earlier, in 2015, when it was typical for the Russian occupation troops to wear white arm bands as a form of identification.\r\n\r\nDespite the Chief Intelligence Office suggestion that Russian troops with Syrian combat experience are deployed to the Donbas, their presence has not been verified yet. However, deployments in the opposite direction \u2013 to Syria after participating in combat in the Donbas \u2013 have been previously identified.
