The Security Service of Ukraine in Luhansk detained a Private of the 9th Independent Motor Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation which is stationed in the Rostov region.<\/p>\n
\nI am a citizen of the Russian Federation. My name is Khohlov Peter Sergeevich, Born 8 February 1995, in Novouzensk, Saratov Region. <\/p>\n
On May 22 2013 I was accepted for military service, after having served 9 months I signed a contract for 9 separate motorized rifle brigade, 54046 military unit. After 1.5 months contract service I was transferred to the 1st motorized rifle battalion. After two weeks we were raised due to alarm, loaded to train and sent to Rostov region. Close to Millerovo village there is Krasnovka villiage. We were camping in the forest, set up tents and we were ordered to dig trenches. We masked them. In a month we were lined up and the battalion commander ordered all mechanics and gunners organise all vehicles (IFV) in column and paint out all the insignia, marks and numbers. And to make repairs. After the repairs of the vehicles, KamAz with AGTM arrived. We put 5 AGTM to each vehicle. Around 4pm each vehicle was checked by Colonel Rykov and Captain Vasura.<\/p>\n
At 5pm march started out. 14 vehicles with their regular crews drove. Close to 8 a.m. we came to the destination. We were told to pass the vehicles to Chechens, and they would pass it to militants (in Ukraine). All vehicles were transported to Russian Donetsk.<\/p>\n
After handing over the 14 vehicles we were ordered to repair other vehicles. On 8th Aug 2014 we were told we could earn 150 000 RUR per month by leaving the Russian army and joining the militants. Me and private Dorofeev decided to do this.<\/p>\n
We left in the evening of the 8th of august. We spent a night in the forest, in the morning we woke up and walked again. After passing Ukrainian State Border, we got to a (militants) camp in Novosvitlivka village, where we were kept in the police office. After being checked, the Russian soldiers joined the (terrorist) group.<\/p>\n
We launched an offensive. I was given a vest and RPG and grenade and put to 6th motor car. There already were a sniper rifle, 3 Mukhas and zink 5,45s. <\/p>\n
My friend was taken by IFV. They drove straight, and we drove left. Passing by the bridge we saw `balloons\u2019. We stopped close to the `balloons\u2019 and started to go out with weapons. There were Ukrainian soldiers nearby. The sniper cried out that \u201cwe are on the same side”. They inspected us saw the sniper rifle and took the sniper away at once. <\/p>\n
A big man came to me took my vest and ripped my personal number and my passport too. He told me to lie face down. After 15 minutes we heard militant\u2019s car approaching. The Ukrainian soldiers started to shoot at them and the car drove away. All of us who were taken were put to the store. It was close to 4p.m. Close to 5 p.m. militants started to shell the village in the direction of the store with Grad’s and mortars.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
