{"id":14075,"date":"2018-10-23T19:59:04","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T19:59:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/?p=14075"},"modified":"2020-02-02T18:13:55","modified_gmt":"2020-02-02T18:13:55","slug":"russian-p-441-ov-liven-satellite-communication-station-in-occupied-donetsk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/russian-p-441-ov-liven-satellite-communication-station-in-occupied-donetsk\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian P-441-OV Liven satellite communication station in occupied Donetsk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Volunteers of InformNapalm international intelligence community found new evidence that the Russian P-441-OV Liven satellite communication station was used in occupied Donetsk in 2014.\u00a0\u00a0 This station was commissioned by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2007 and has never been supplied to Ukraine.\u00a0InformNapalm has previously discovered such a station in occupied\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/may30-secret-communication-donbas\/\">Luhansk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>R-441-OV Liven in occupied Donetsk<\/p>\n<p>A photo of an R-441-OV Liven in Donetsk was posted in his photo album on December, 2014 by <strong>Vitaly Olegovich Sinyavsky<\/strong>, a Russian serviceman from the 34<sup>th<\/sup> Separate Motorized Rifle Mountain Brigade (military unit 01485, home base in the village of Storozhevaya-2, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/Selection_0229.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong><em>he photo shows the satellite communications station R-441-OV Liven in the background on the left.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Near the Liven station on the right, there is a KShM R-142 in the back of the K66N<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul class=\"st-toggle\">\n<li class=\"\">\n<h3 class=\"toggle-title\">Purpose and technical characteristics of the station<i class=\"icon-plus\"><\/i><i class=\"icon icon-minus\"><\/i><\/h3>\n<div class=\"toggle-content\">\n<div class=\"txt-content\">\n<blockquote><p><em>R-441-OV satellite communication station works through the ESSS-2 [uniform\u00a0communications satellite system]\u00a0geostationary re-translators\u00a0\u2018Globus-1\u2019 and \u2018Globus-1M\u2019\u00a0and \u2018Meridian\u2019 repeaters on highly elliptical orbits (including the on-board processing mode and direct re-translation in\u00a04\/6 and\u00a07\/8 GHz ranges). Also, it can use civil orbiter repeaters of \u2018Ekspress\u2019 and \u2018Yamal\u2019 type\u00a0in the direct\u00a0re-translation mode\u00a0at\u00a04\/6 GHz.\u00a0R-441-OV station is designed\u00a0to provide\u00a0countermeasures-safe satellite communication for military units and\u00a0separate\u00a0objects of\u00a0operational and operational-strategic command levels.\u00a0The station provides the organization of secure telephone, telegraph, facsimile and data transfer at the rate of 1.2, 2.1, 4.8, 9.6, 19.2 kbps with similar stations as well as with \u2018Kristall\u2019, \u2018Dozhd\u2019, \u2018Legenda\u2019 and R-439KUL stations. Serial production of the equipment and its deployment started in 2007.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We were able to identify the place where the photo was taken: Sinyavsky stands near the building at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/yandex.ua\/maps\/142\/donetsk\/?ll=37.796382%2C48.030329&amp;mode=search&amp;sll=37.797245%2C48.029581&amp;sspn=0.004914%2C0.001932&amp;text=%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%83%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BA%20%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%8B%D1%88%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B0%2C%2023&amp;z=16\">23 Pokryshev<\/a>\u00a0Lane, Donetsk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/Selection_0221.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also, Sinyavsky was photographed nearby, in the territory of the paramilitary mountain rescue unit at the address: <a href=\"https:\/\/yandex.ua\/maps\/142\/donetsk\/?ll=37.795708%2C48.029690&amp;mode=search&amp;panorama%5Bdirection%5D=152.500000%2C10.000000&amp;panorama%5Bpoint%5D=37.795665%2C48.030158&amp;panorama%5Bspan%5D=120.000000%2C59.416817&amp;sll=37.797038%2C48.029630&amp;sspn=0.009828%2C0.003865&amp;text=%D1%83%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%B0%20%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%BE%2C%207&amp;z=16\">7 Nikolenko Street<\/a>, Donetsk.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/Selection_0224.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The headquarters of the Russian occupation forces in Donetsk<\/p>\n<p>The presence of at least 4 Russian military units was recorded in the territory of the paramilitary mountain rescue unit: the 18th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/3-trips-from-18th-brigade\/\">1<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/askai707\/status\/724300175691419649\">2<\/a>), the <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/jan15-syria-signal\/\">66th Signal Brigade<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/jan15-syria-signal\/\">33rd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, and as evidenced by this photo, the 34th Separate Motorized Rifle Mountain Brigade. There is every reason to assume that the headquarters of the Russian occupation forces are located there.\u00a0The presence of a satellite communications station confirms this assumption.<\/p>\n<h2>Russian 34th Mountain Brigade participated in the annexation of Crimea<\/h2>\n<p>Vitaly Sinyavsky began his path of a war criminal by participating in a special operation to seize and occupy the Crimea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vitaly Sinyavsky<\/strong><em> was born on 10\/30\/1993 in the village of Dinskaya of Krasnodar Krai, graduated from Krasnodar Technical College. In 2013 through June 2014, he served as a conscript at the 34th Brigade, then continued there as a contract serviceman \u2013 a driver at a medical company. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>In Sinyavsky\u2019s photo album we found a photo taken on the ferry Nikolai Aksenenko; the photo was posted on April 19, 2014.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D0%9E%D0%9A-%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BD-2-1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The use of this ferry to transfer the occupying contingent to Crimea has already been mentioned in the material about the Russian <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/list-1097-how-the-russian-18th-brigade-occupied-crimea\/\">18th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a photo of the Russian military from the 34th Mountain Brigade at Azovskaya railway station in Dzhankoy Raion of Crimea.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D0%9E%D0%9A-%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BD-15.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sinyavsky\u2019s album also contains a photo of the Ukrainian currency which is quite common for Russian invaders:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D0%9E%D0%9A-%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BD-6.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On September 7, 2014, Sinyavsky made a comment regarding his \u201cbusiness trip\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%83%D1%81-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE-%D0%B2%D1%96%D0%B4%D1%80%D1%8F%D0%B4%D0%B6%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8F.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, where was Sinyavsky sent to after taking part in the annexation of Crimea? The answer is on the next photo where Sinyavsky is wearing a uniform with a shoulder patch of the DPR Russian terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D1%88%D0%B5%D0%B2%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BD-%D0%B4%D0%BD%D1%80-%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BD.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He was awarded a medal \u201cFor Distinction in Combat\u201d by the Russian Ministry of Defense for killing Ukrainians.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D0%92%D0%9A-%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8C-%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%80%D1%96%D0%BD.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Sinyavsky received an award for participation in a parade. This award is interesting because the certificate contains the number of the same military unit &#8211; 01485.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/10\/%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B2%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D0%9E%D0%9A-%D1%84%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%BE-21.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, Vitaly Sinyavsky participated in the aggression against Ukraine in Crimea and in the Donbas while being on active duty in the armed forces of the Russian href=\"http:\/\/www.stapravda.ru\/20120801\/34ya_otdelnaya_motostrelkovaya_gornaya_brigada_nikogda_ne_podved_62500.html\">Mikhail Stepanovich Zusko<\/a>.\u00a0<strong>From summer to late autumn 2014<\/strong>, Mikhail Zusko\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gur.gov.ua\/content\/heneral-maior-zs-rf-zus-ko-mykhailo-stepanovych.html\">commanded the 1st Army Corp<\/a>s\u00a0(Donetsk, Ukraine) of the 12th Reserve Command (at that time &#8211; the Center of Territorial Forces, Novocherkassk, Russia) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.\u00a0For participation in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, he was promoted. He is on the Main Military Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Ukraine\u00a0<a href=\"Main%20Military%20Prosecutor\u2019s%20Office%20of%20Ukraine\">Suspicion Persons List<\/a> of commanding officers of the Russian Armed Forces and representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p>The certificate for Vitaly Sinyavsky\u2019s medal for participation in hostilities in Ukraine was dated December 10, 2014, and signed by the acting commander of military unit 01485, Colonel\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/old.redstar.ru\/2010\/02\/19_02\/2_08.html\">Alexey Nikolaevich Simakov<\/a>, who before the war was deputy brigade commander and had the rank of lieutenant colonel.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2015, Colonel\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/zelpravda.ru\/vlast\/novym-komandirom-34j-otdelnoj-motostrelkovoj-gornoj-brigady-naznachen-armii-polkovnik-sergej-dmitriev.html\">Sergey Dmitriev<\/a>\u00a0became the commander of the 34th Mountain Brigade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We want to note that the list of\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ua.censor.net.ua\/news\/416722\/viyiskova_prokuratura_vstanovyla_pidrozdily_i_tehniku_zs_rf_yaki_zabezpechuvaly_okupatsiyu_krymu_prokuror\">units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation<\/a><strong>\u00a0that participated in the annexation of Crimea presented by the military prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko in November 2016, does not contain the 34th Separate Motorized Rifle Mountain Brigade. Now there is every reason to include this unit in the list of occupants and to supplement the evidence base that will be submitted to the International Criminal Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>As of October 15, 2018, Russian occupant Vitaly Sinyavsky got scared and deleted photo evidence of participation in the annexation of Crimea and the occupation of Ukrainian territories in the Donbas while being in the DPR Russian terrorist organization, from his social media profiles.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Out of 284 photos on OK, only 56 were left. Also, it can use civil orbiter repeaters of \u2018Ekspress\u2019 and \u2018Yamal\u2019 type\u00a0in the direct\u00a0re-translation mode\u00a0at\u00a04\/6 GHz.\u00a0R-441-OV station is designed\u00a0to provide\u00a0countermeasures-safe satellite communication for military units and\u00a0separate\u00a0objects of\u00a0operational and operational-strategic command levels.\u00a0The station provides the organization of secure telephone, telegraph, facsimile and data transfer at the rate of 1.2, 2.1, 4.8, 9.6, 19.2 kbps with similar stations as well as with \u2018Kristall\u2019, \u2018Dozhd\u2019, \u2018Legenda\u2019 and R-439KUL stations. There is every reason to assume that the headquarters of the Russian occupation forces are located there.\u00a0The presence of a satellite communications station confirms this assumption.\r\n<h2>Russian 34th Mountain Brigade participated in the annexation of Crimea<\/h2>\r\nVitaly Sinyavsky began his path of a war criminal by participating in a special operation to seize and occupy the Crimea.\r\n\r\n<strong>Vitaly Sinyavsky<\/strong><em> was born on 10\/30\/1993 in the village of Dinskaya of Krasnodar Krai, graduated from Krasnodar Technical College. \/><\/blockquote>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Commanders of the 34th OMSBr (g)<\/h2>\r\nFrom 2011 to 2014, the commander of the 34th Motorized Rifle Mountain Brigade was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stapravda.ru\/20120801\/34ya_otdelnaya_motostrelkovaya_gornaya_brigada_nikogda_ne_podved_62500.html\">Mikhail Stepanovich Zusko<\/a>.\u00a0<strong>From summer to late autumn 2014<\/strong>, Mikhail Zusko\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gur.gov.ua\/content\/heneral-maior-zs-rf-zus-ko-mykhailo-stepanovych.html\">commanded the 1st Army Corp<\/a>s\u00a0(Donetsk, Ukraine) of the 12th Reserve Command (at that time - the Center of Territorial Forces, Novocherkassk, Russia) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.\u00a0For participation in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, he was promoted. He is on the Main Military Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Ukraine\u00a0<a href=\"Main%20Military%20Prosecutor\u2019s%20Office%20of%20Ukraine\">Suspicion Persons List<\/a> of commanding officers of the Russian Armed Forces and representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation.\r\n\r\nThe certificate for Vitaly Sinyavsky\u2019s medal for participation in hostilities in Ukraine was dated December 10, 2014, and signed by the acting commander of military unit 01485, Colonel\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/old.redstar.ru\/2010\/02\/19_02\/2_08.html\">Alexey Nikolaevich Simakov<\/a>, who before the war was deputy brigade commander and had the rank of lieutenant colonel.\r\n\r\nIn November 2015, Colonel\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/zelpravda.ru\/vlast\/novym-komandirom-34j-otdelnoj-motostrelkovoj-gornoj-brigady-naznachen-armii-polkovnik-sergej-dmitriev.html\">Sergey Dmitriev<\/a>\u00a0became the commander of the 34th Mountain Brigade.\r\n\r\n<strong>We want to note that the list of\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ua.censor.net.ua\/news\/416722\/viyiskova_prokuratura_vstanovyla_pidrozdily_i_tehniku_zs_rf_yaki_zabezpechuvaly_okupatsiyu_krymu_prokuror\">units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation<\/a><strong>\u00a0that participated in the annexation of Crimea presented by the military prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko in November 2016, does not contain the 34th Separate Motorized Rifle Mountain Brigade. Now there is every reason to include this unit in the list of occupants and to supplement the evidence base that will be submitted to the International Criminal Court.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<em>As of October 15, 2018, Russian occupant Vitaly Sinyavsky got scared and deleted photo evidence of participation in the annexation of Crimea and the occupation of Ukrainian territories in the Donbas while being in the DPR Russian terrorist organization, from his social media profiles.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Out of 284 photos on OK, only 56 were left.
