More than 10 years have passed since the date of the attack of Russians on Georgia, and some participants of those events began to publish photos of their participation in the aggression on social networks. For example, Stas Leshchinsky, <strong>a soldier of the 417th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion (the 417th SRB, military unit 55034, home station &#8211; Khankala, Chechnya, Southern Military District) from the 42th Motorized Rifle Division (MRD) of the Russian army<\/strong>, who fought against Georgia in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participation of the 42nd MRD in the occupation of Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participation of the 42nd MRD of Russian army in the attack on Georgia is a well-known fact; this is open-source <a href=\"https:\/\/iz.ru\/news\/634572\">information<\/a>.\u00a0In the beginning of the last year, we <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/22-russian-servicemen-participated-war-georgia\/\">published<\/a> the names of servicemen of the 478th Communications Battalion, which belongs to the 42nd MRD.\u00a0And now we have detected occupants from the 417th SRB.\u00a0Today we publish data of one of them.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Leshchinsky Stas,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>born in 1982 (possibly 1983), in Verkhnyaya Salda town, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.\u00a0He attended\u00a0 school #2 of Verkhnyaya Salda from 1989 till 1998. In 1998-1999 he attended aero-metallurgical college in Verkhnyaya Salda.<\/p>\n<p>He did military service in several units:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the 473rd District Center of Junior Specialists Training for infantry units, military unit 31612;<\/li>\n<li>the 5th Armored Brigade, military unit 89547;<\/li>\n<li>the 417th SRB (military unit 55034), the 42nd MRD, in which he served from 2006 till 2008 in the 2nd reconnaissance group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In his social network album Leshchinsky published a picture with armed Russian soldiers posing next to road sign \u201cBatumi\u201d in English and Georgian. The caption says: \u201cOn the way&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
