<\/a>\nIn the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group \u201cEAST,\u201d the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions twice:<\/p>\n
Near SHYROKYNE from the direction of SAKHANKA \u2013 using small arms;<\/p>\n
Near BOHDANIVKA from the direction of PETRIVSKE \u2013 using an automated grenade launcher and a large-caliber machine gun.<\/p>\n
In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group \u201cNORTH,\u201d the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces positions once:<\/p>\n
Near KRYMSKE from the direction of ZHOLOBOK \u2013 using a portable anti-tank grenade launcher, and a large-caliber machine gun.<\/p>\n
No casualties on the Ukrainian side were reported as a result of the enemy fire. Our units responded adequately to each case of opening of the fire by the Russian Federation Armed Forces and their mercenaries. The adversary\u2019s casualties are being investigated.<\/p>\n
Over July 18, the armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and their mercenaries have violated the ceasefire regime 10 times. Out of these, 3 times they used weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements, namely, 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars. The adversary also opened fire on our troops using grenade launchers of the miscellaneous systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.<\/p>\n
The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near the towns and villages of PISKY, TROYITSKE, KAMYANKA, VODYANE, POVLOPIL, LOMAKYNE, PYSHCHEVYK, and MAYORSK.<\/p>\n
On July 18, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting in the area of the Joint Forces Operation as parts of the Joint Forces have revealed 1 robbery, 4 thefts, and 10 cases of illehal narcotics possession. Three persons were arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to the judicial organs.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, more than 24,000 persons and 2,600 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces Operation through the points of controlled entry. Twenty-three thousand six hundred persons and 2,500 vehicles exited through the same points. Forty-two persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.<\/p>\n
The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.<\/p>\n
