InformNapalm international intelligence community continues identifying regular Russian servicemen who took part in the hybrid aggression against Ukraine.\u00a0As of July 2021, InformNapalm has collected evidence against over<\/strong> 2,630 Russian soldiers and officers<\/strong><\/a> in its OSINT investigations database. This OSINT investigation by InformNapalm adds new facts to the database.\u00a0We have collected identification data of the marines of the Northern Fleet, in particular the Russian servicemen of the 61st Marine Brigade (military unit 38643, Sputnik village, Murmansk Oblast) and other units of the Northern Fleet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As with the recent identification of 5 Russian servicemen from the 18th Motorized Rifle Brigade<\/a>, the starting point for the new OSINT investigation was a group\u00a0photograph<\/a> of the Russian military men. The photo was taken in the Donbas in the summer of 2014. One of the soldiers from the photo was identified<\/a> by InformNapalm volunteers in June 2015. The data of the other Russian military men from this photograph was found in 2021.<\/p>\n

The central figure of the previous investigation and the author of a series of photos from the Donbas is Yevgeny Pismensky<\/strong>. He was identified in 2015. After the investigation about him was published he deleted his social network account. But InformNapalm volunteers managed to obtain additional information about him and his colleagues from the Russian Northern Fleet.<\/p>\n

    He has an old cleaned-up and private social media profile in the name of “Yevgeny Yevgenievich” with the id-nickname “naemnik<\/a>” – Russian for a “mercenary” (archive<\/a>).<\/p>\n
