The DPR Special Forces Battalion \u201cBerkut\u201d (\u201cGolden Eagle\u201d) is headed by the officer of the Russian special services with the call sign \u201cKholod\u201d (\u201cCold\u201d).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cG\u201d is known for his criminal past: he was previously brought to criminal liability for the crime of rape of a minor girl.<\/p>\n<p>It was established that the detainee headed an illegal paramilitary formation in May 2014, for which he personally recruited fighters from the local criminals and former employees of the Police Special Forces.<\/p>\n<p>The militants performed special missions related to the detection of the ATO Special Forces, gathered intelligence information in the area of the Donetsk airport and passed exact coordinates of Ukrainian military to terrorists for subsequent artillery strikes.<\/p>\n<p>His group in Donetsk also acted as a \u201cfiscal authority\u201d: they collected \u201ctaxes\u201d from local business people. The DPR Special Forces Battalion \u201cBerkut\u201d (\u201cGolden Eagle\u201d) is headed by the officer of the Russian special services with the call sign \u201cKholod\u201d (\u201cCold\u201d).<!--more-->\n\n\u201cG\u201d is known for his criminal past: he was previously brought to criminal liability for the crime of rape of a minor girl.\n\nIt was established that the detainee headed an illegal paramilitary formation in May 2014, for which he personally recruited fighters from the local criminals and former employees of the Police Special Forces.\n\nThe militants performed special missions related to the detection of the ATO Special Forces, gathered intelligence information in the area of the Donetsk airport and passed exact coordinates of Ukrainian military to terrorists for subsequent artillery strikes.\n\nHis group in Donetsk also acted as a \u201cfiscal authority\u201d: they collected \u201ctaxes\u201d from local business people.
