However, this is just a routine rotation, which provides the replacement of units of the Central and Eastern Military Districts that spent a winter in the fields around Rostov and Donbas with new forces from the Southern (and possibly others) Military District.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">According to our observations, a group of Russian troops located in Rostov Oblast on the Ukrainian border began the rotation of personnel. Some units (battalion-tactical groups) of the East and Central Military Districts that arrived to Rostov Oblast in the late fall of 2014 are heading back to their home bases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">In particular, the partial withdrawal of the following military units has been observed:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 5th Separate Tank Brigade (military unit #46108, based in the city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia);<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 28th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit #61423, based in the city of Yekaterinburg);<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 74th Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit # 21005, based in the city of Yurga, Kemerovo Oblast).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/neklinovski-2.03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"756\" height=\"799\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/matv-kurgan-otvod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"764\" height=\"740\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Some units of the Eastern Military District located in the Russian Far East, including troops from the so-called &#8220;deterrent forces&#8221; deployed on the border with China, were moved to the Ukrainian border during the autumn-winter of 2014. Trains with personnel, military equipment and weapons rallied at a formation point headquartered at the Onokhoy station on the Trans-Siberian railway road in Zaigrayevsky Raion of Buryatia and continued to Southwest Russia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">Simultaneously with the process of withdrawal, new units (battalion-tactical groups) from the Southern Military District have been arriving at Rostov Oblast, in particular, units of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 7th Military base (military unit #09332, based in the city of Gudauta, Republic of Abkhazia);<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 33rd Separate Motor Rifle Mountain Brigade (military unit # 22179, based in the city of Maykop, Republic of Adygea);<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 34th Separate Motor Rifle Mountain Brigade (military unit #01485, based in the village of Zelenchukskaya, Karachay-Cherkess Republic). We wrote about it earlier in January: https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/4597-podrazdelenye-34-j-msbr-gornoj-v-sostave-syl-vtorzhenyya<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/eG2WEjJ-iWY.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">In the same area, units of the 22nd Guards Spetsnaz Brigade GRU (military unit #11659, based in the village of Stepnoy, Rostov Oblast), as well as the 351st Separate Special Purpose Brigade of the Internal Troops (military unit # 6775, based in the city of Grozny, Chechnya) have been observed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">The information about the process of rotation is not complete; it needs additional analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">Along with this, the concentration of Russian troops in Voronezh and Belgorod Oblasts of Russia, which neighbor Luhansk and Kharkiv Oblasts of Ukraine, has been observed. Units (battalion-tactical groups) of the Western Military District have been relocated there. In particular, the 9th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit #54046, based in the city of Nizhny Novgorod) has been identified around the town of Kantemirovka, Voronezh Oblast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">According to preliminary information, a howitzer detachment of the 291st Artillery Brigade (military unit #64670, based in the town of Troitskaya, Republic of Ingushetia) of the Southern Military District has been relocated to Belgorod Oblast. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">This activity indicates the intentions of the Russian side to build a new military group (similar to the group in Rostov Oblast) which will be used to destabilize the situation in Kharkiv Oblast and in the northern-east part of Luhansk Oblast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/6472-shylo-na-mylo-ynformatsyya-po-rotatsyy-podrazdelenyj-rostovskoj-gruppyrovke-syl-vtorzhenyya\">Original article<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/irakli.komakhidze1980\">Irakli Komakhidze<\/a>,\u00a0translated by Sveta Kemblowski.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the Minsk II agreement, Russia started the &#8220;withdrawal&#8221; of some military units from Rostov Oblast. Some units (battalion-tactical groups) of the East and Central Military Districts that arrived to Rostov Oblast in the late fall of 2014 are heading back to their home bases.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">In particular, the partial withdrawal of the following military units has been observed:<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 5th Separate Tank Brigade (military unit #46108, based in the city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia);<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 28th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit #61423, based in the city of Yekaterinburg);<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 74th Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit # 21005, based in the city of Yurga, Kemerovo Oblast).<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"p3\"><img class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/neklinovski-2.03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"756\" height=\"799\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p3\"><img class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/matv-kurgan-otvod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"764\" height=\"740\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p3\">Some units of the Eastern Military District located in the Russian Far East, including troops from the so-called \"deterrent forces\" deployed on the border with China, were moved to the Ukrainian border during the autumn-winter of 2014. Trains with personnel, military equipment and weapons rallied at a formation point headquartered at the Onokhoy station on the Trans-Siberian railway road in Zaigrayevsky Raion of Buryatia and continued to Southwest Russia.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">Simultaneously with the process of withdrawal, new units (battalion-tactical groups) from the Southern Military District have been arriving at Rostov Oblast, in particular, units of:<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 7th Military base (military unit #09332, based in the city of Gudauta, Republic of Abkhazia);<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 33rd Separate Motor Rifle Mountain Brigade (military unit # 22179, based in the city of Maykop, Republic of Adygea);<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t<li class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">the 34th Separate Motor Rifle Mountain Brigade (military unit #01485, based in the village of Zelenchukskaya, Karachay-Cherkess Republic). We wrote about it earlier in January: https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/4597-podrazdelenye-34-j-msbr-gornoj-v-sostave-syl-vtorzhenyya<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\"><img class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/eG2WEjJ-iWY.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" \/>\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">In the same area, units of the 22nd Guards Spetsnaz Brigade GRU (military unit #11659, based in the village of Stepnoy, Rostov Oblast), as well as the 351st Separate Special Purpose Brigade of the Internal Troops (military unit # 6775, based in the city of Grozny, Chechnya) have been observed.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">The information about the process of rotation is not complete; it needs additional analysis.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">Along with this, the concentration of Russian troops in Voronezh and Belgorod Oblasts of Russia, which neighbor Luhansk and Kharkiv Oblasts of Ukraine, has been observed. Units (battalion-tactical groups) of the Western Military District have been relocated there.
