Several\u00a0days ago, a Ukrainian\u00a0platoon defensive post\u00a0near Zholobok village (located in Luhansk Oblast) was shelled\u00a0by Russian aggressors, who used a\u00a09M133 Kornet<\/a>\u00a0anti-tank guided missile system (NATO designation AT-14 Spriggan), specifically, the\u00a09M133F-1 variant, armed\u00a0with a thermobaric warhead. According to\u00a0its markings, it was manufactured in 2012. It did not explode due to a malfunction, and it was presented to the public in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

Military Attaches examine the Russian ATGM 9M133 Kornet<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the markings, the missile\u00a0was manufactured in 2012 in Russia. These systems are\u00a0used by the Russian Army. The Ukrainian Army does not possess them.<\/p>\n

This report was published by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at\u00a0mil.gov.ua<\/a>. The original photos of\u00a0ATGM 9M133F-1 Kornet were posted on April 21 by Igor Gurchik on his Facebook page\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian checkpoint #29, located near Zholobok village, which is controlled by the Russian forces, was attacked on April 18, 2015. Below we post all ten\u00a0photos that are of a much better quality than the photos posted by the Ministry\u00a0of Defense of Ukraine. The photos were taken by a Ukrainian soldier immediately\u00a0after the attack, when the missile warhead was found.<\/p>\n
