This timeline was prepared by the InformNapalm team and was based on the information from our insiders in the occupied territories, as well as the information from public sources.<\/p>\n

Sector C<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donetsk<\/strong><\/p>\n

Militants shelled Avdiivka, Pisky and Opytne during\u00a0the night.<\/p>\n

In the early morning, starting around 05:30, militants clashed with\u00a0Cossacks, who\u00a0where located in the building across the Bumer car service station (Mayska street, Budenovskyi District): small arms fire and explosions were heard. Fire trucks arrived, because a gas pipe was damaged during the fight. Ten passenger cars blocked Mayska Street, and patrols were set out, passing cars and bystanders were randomly searched. As a result the Cossack base was captured, their flag was removed, the building was severely damaged, and the militants lay\u00a0in ambush\u00a0with machine guns. The residents reported\u00a0casualties on both sides.<\/p>\n

10:30 – A BMP passed towards the city center from Svoboda square through Kirova Street, carrying militants in masks and with white armbands.<\/p>\n

11:07 – In the northern part of the city explosions and firing could be heard, smoke was seen in the airport area.<\/p>\n

At 13:00 the residents informed about the militants’ attempt to seize the Cossack base in Oleksiivka. A fight started with BMP on the side of militants.<\/p>\n

13:15 – Mortar shelling near the airport.<\/p>\n

13:50 – A dense\u00a0smoke in Pisky area.<\/p>\n

14:14 – Militants set up ambush points\u00a0along the road of Zvesdnyi, Myrnyi and Shyrokyi.<\/p>\n

14:20 – Militants set up perimeter defense of\u00a0Kirovskyi District\u00a0Police Department.<\/p>\n

14:37 – An\u00a0explosion near Coal Mine 12\/18 with a big\u00a0cloud of black smoke, which quickly dissipated.<\/p>\n

14:50 – Militants also surrounded\u00a0Leninskyi District Police Department.<\/p>\n

15:11 – Single explosions and salvos in the airport area.<\/p>\n

15:14 – Two BMPs left from\u00a0the Directorate\u00a0for Fighting Organized Crime, with militants on the top. The militants wore\u00a0white bands on their right arms. The vehicles turned to Myrnyi District.<\/p>\n

15:45 –\u00a0Donetsk Airport, Tochmash, Oktyabrska Mine\u00a0– the sounds of tanks, self-propelled artillery, and BMPs were heard.<\/p>\n

17:08 –\u00a0Mayak: powerful salvos of heavy artillery.<\/p>\n

17:10 – Kyivskyi District: militants\u2019 artillery shells the positions of the Ukrainian army.<\/p>\n

17:20 – The residents report\u00a0the seizure of the Cossack base in Oleksiivka by militants; they changed the flag and set numerous armed patrols. No information about casualties and damages.<\/p>\n

17:22 – Kalininskyi District: heavy single outgoing shots.<\/p>\n

17:25 – A tank periodically fires in the Spartak area. Sounds of heavy artillery in the areas of Vyshnevskyi hospital as well as Bakynskykh Komisariv.<\/p>\n

17:27 – Sounds of a firefight\u00a0were heard in the area of Donbas-Arena coming from the direction\u00a0of the airport, a\u00a0D-30 howitzer was\u00a0firing.<\/p>\n

18:05 – An OSCE car passed through Dzerzhynskyi Avenue towards Makiivka, and later a BMP accompanied by a police van.<\/p>\n

18:15 – A T-64 tank passed towards the airport via Kyivskyi Avenue.<\/p>\n

18:30 – More than 10 tanks are standing on the road leading to\u00a0Adviivka, they are positioned\u00a0right after the fork-bridge if coming\u00a0from the ring road.<\/p>\n

19:06 – Kyivskyi Avenue: salvos of D-30 howitzers, sounds of small arms fight from the airport.<\/p>\n

21:30 – A heavy machine gun, small arms firing and single explosions in the airport area.<\/p>\n

Makiivka<\/strong><\/p>\n

12:47 – A firefight can be heard from\u00a0the center of the city, it sounds like a BMP or AA\u00a0guns.<\/p>\n

17:10 – Shots by a single tank can be heard from the center of the city.<\/p>\n

17:20 – Shelling by\u00a0heavy artillery can be heard from Chervonohvardiyski District.<\/p>\n

Shakhtarsk<\/strong><\/p>\n

Road accident involving militants\u00a0occurred\u00a0in front of the Fokstrot supermarket: an Ural military truck rammed\u00a0a\u00a0passenger bus departing\u00a0to Russia. No information about casualties.<\/p>\n

13:40 = Four BM-21 Grad MLRS passed towards Yenakiieve-Horlivka.<\/p>\n

14:47 –\u00a0Ural trucks with new tactical markings\u00a0(diamond with the number 11 inside)\u00a0appeared in the town.<\/p>\n

15:34 – One BMP passed to Torez.<\/p>\n

15:42 – MAZ-537 truck with an empty tanker\u00a0trailer passed to Torez.<\/p>\n

20:15 – Approximately 10 covered trucks accompanied by SUVs\u00a0with sirens drove from Donetsk eastwards.<\/p>\n

21:52 – A bus with militants, an\u00a0Ural truck, three BMP-2, and a Grad\u00a0MLRS passed towards Donetsk.<\/p>\n

Horlivka<\/strong><\/p>\n

Around\u00a0midnight, a fight between Ukrainian servicemen and militants’ sabotage-reconnaissance group took place near Zaytseve area.<\/p>\n

12:00 – Two BMPs passed on D. Zhloba Street towards Avtodrom.<\/p>\n

15:30 – Railroad\u00a0operation is now restored. A train with coal traveled over the Lenina Avenue bridge towards Mykytivka, Konstyantynivka.<\/p>\n

In the area of \u201cKochegarka\u201d on B. Makukha Street two bridge sections were towed, there are claims that the bridge will be rebuilt by May 9.<\/p>\n

19:00 – \u201cKurhanka\u201d: gun salvos.<\/p>\n

In the evening there\u00a0was an explosion near Horlivka district\u00a0administration building. Somebody threw a hand grenade from a\u00a0car under a\u00a0repair truck in 5th Block\u00a0near the building.<\/p>\n

Sector A <\/strong><\/p>\n

Shchastya<\/strong><\/p>\n

The defensive\u00a0post of the Ukrainian Army near the town of Shchastya was shelled three times with 82mm\u00a0mortars. The positions of the Ukrainian army near Stanytsia Luhanska were fired at with\u00a0AA guns, automatic grenade\u00a0launchers, and small arms.<\/p>\n

Zolote<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man triggered a tripwire mine just a few meters away from the bus stop of Rodina coal mine.<\/p>\n

Stakhanov<\/strong><\/p>\n

The residents observed approximately 20 trucks with ammunition and militants moving from Bryanka towards Almazna.<\/p>\n

Three militants died the night before; they were buried today in the coffins made of MLRS Grad ammunition boxes.<\/p>\n

Militants tell the residents that the offense is planned for May 10th and everything is ready.<\/p>\n

Molodohvardiysk<\/strong><\/p>\n

The residents claim that they heard the sound of a helicopter flying to Luhansk, and after some time they also heard the noise of a moving armor convoy.<\/p>\n

Pervomaisk<\/strong><\/p>\n

The residents say that their town is literally flooded with\u00a0tanks and BTRs. They never saw so many before.<\/p>\n

Alchevsk<\/strong><\/p>\n

No fuel was available at any of the eight gas stations between Alchevsk and Perevalsk for the whole day.<\/p>\n

At 20:52 two loaded Grad MLRS passed towards Stakhanov.<\/p>\n

Luhansk<\/strong><\/p>\n

A rehearsal\u00a0of militants\u2019 parade for May 9 took place in the city.<\/p>\n

A 23 year old woman was brutally killed in the township of Metalist; she was missing for five days. Allegedly she was raped, the cause of death were numerous wounds\u00a0as a result of severe beating. The woman is survived by her husband and a small child.<\/p>\n

At 20:50 a\u00a0convoy with flags and militants on top of armored vehicles drove by.<\/p>\n

The militants got paid in Luhansk. Huge sell-out at\u00a0the market: drunken militants have rubles and are buying everything.<\/p>\n

Krasnyi Luch<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fuel has disappeared at\u00a0the gas stations. \u201cThe authorities\u201d continue to pay pensions in rubles, bringing them directly to the homes of the residents. It seems all pensions in the occupied territories are paid with 50 ruble notes\u00a0of 1997\u00a0issue.<\/p>\n

At 20:30 a large convoy of heavy weaponry, approximately 30 vehicles, possibly including self-propelled guns, passed from Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

23:30 – Another\u00a0large convoy with approximately\u00a030 Grad MLRS from Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

Antratsyt<\/strong><\/p>\n

By the order of LNR leadership the\u00a0gas price has been fixed at 18 hryvnya per liter of\u00a095 octane gas. As a result all gas stations have closed. The residents state that\u00a0a single gas station is working somewhere, but nobody knows which one. Operators of the other\u00a0gas stations\u00a0are waiting for the situation to change, since they would lose money on sales at the set price.<\/p>\n

Lutugine<\/strong><\/p>\n

23:16 – A military convoy entered the village Rozkishne from Lutugine, it took the convoy\u00a0over 20 minutes to pass.<\/p>\n

Sectors B and M<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hranitne<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 6:00 to 8:30 the militants shelled the village Hranitne with mortars. The shells\u00a0exploded in the yards and gardens causing civilian\u00a0casualties.<\/p>\n

Shyrokyne<\/strong><\/p>\n

14:20 – Militants fired at\u00a0the positions of the Azov regiment with\u00a0heavy machine guns and small arms.<\/p>\n

16:20 – A massive shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian Army.<\/p>\n

22:30 – Audible explosions and continuous shelling. Three soldiers of the Azov regiment were injured during the shelling of Shyrokyne.<\/p>\n

Conclusion: In the ATO zone the militants, along with Russian servicemen, continue provocative shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian Army, accumulate ammunition and weaponry, and also terrorize the residents of the occupied territories.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fire trucks arrived, because a gas pipe was damaged during the fight. Ten passenger cars blocked Mayska Street, and patrols were set out, passing cars and bystanders were randomly searched. As a result the Cossack base was captured, their flag was removed, the building was severely damaged, and the militants lay\u00a0in ambush\u00a0with machine guns. The residents reported\u00a0casualties on both sides.\r\n\r\n10:30 - A BMP passed towards the city center from Svoboda square through Kirova Street, carrying militants in masks and with white armbands.\r\n\r\n11:07 - In the northern part of the city explosions and firing could be heard, smoke was seen in the airport area.\r\n\r\nAt 13:00 the residents informed about the militants' attempt to seize the Cossack base in Oleksiivka. A fight started with BMP on the side of militants.\r\n\r\n13:15 - Mortar shelling near the airport.\r\n\r\n13:50 - A dense\u00a0smoke in Pisky area.\r\n\r\n14:14 - Militants set up ambush points\u00a0along the road of Zvesdnyi, Myrnyi and Shyrokyi.\r\n\r\n14:20 - Militants set up perimeter defense of\u00a0Kirovskyi District\u00a0Police Department.\r\n\r\n14:37 - An\u00a0explosion near Coal Mine 12\/18 with a big\u00a0cloud of black smoke, which quickly dissipated.\r\n\r\n14:50 - Militants also surrounded\u00a0Leninskyi District Police Department.\r\n\r\n15:11 - Single explosions and salvos in the airport area.\r\n\r\n15:14 - Two BMPs left from\u00a0the Directorate\u00a0for Fighting Organized Crime, with militants on the top. The militants wore\u00a0white bands on their right arms. The vehicles turned to Myrnyi District.\r\n\r\n15:45 -\u00a0Donetsk Airport, Tochmash, Oktyabrska Mine\u00a0- the sounds of tanks, self-propelled artillery, and BMPs were heard.\r\n\r\n17:08 -\u00a0Mayak: powerful salvos of heavy artillery.\r\n\r\n17:10 - Kyivskyi District: militants\u2019 artillery shells the positions of the Ukrainian army.\r\n\r\n17:20 - The residents report\u00a0the seizure of the Cossack base in Oleksiivka by militants; they changed the flag and set numerous armed patrols. No information about casualties and damages.\r\n\r\n17:22 - Kalininskyi District: heavy single outgoing shots.\r\n\r\n17:25 - A tank periodically fires in the Spartak area. Sounds of heavy artillery in the areas of Vyshnevskyi hospital as well as Bakynskykh Komisariv.\r\n\r\n17:27 - Sounds of a firefight\u00a0were heard in the area of Donbas-Arena coming from the direction\u00a0of the airport, a\u00a0D-30 howitzer was\u00a0firing.\r\n\r\n18:05 - An OSCE car passed through Dzerzhynskyi Avenue towards Makiivka, and later a BMP accompanied by a police van.\r\n\r\n18:15 - A T-64 tank passed towards the airport via Kyivskyi Avenue.\r\n\r\n18:30 - More than 10 tanks are standing on the road leading to\u00a0Adviivka, they are positioned\u00a0right after the fork-bridge if coming\u00a0from the ring road.\r\n\r\n19:06 - Kyivskyi Avenue: salvos of D-30 howitzers, sounds of small arms fight from the airport.\r\n\r\n21:30 - A heavy machine gun, small arms firing and single explosions in the airport area.\r\n\r\n<strong>Makiivka<\/strong>\r\n\r\n12:47 - A firefight can be heard from\u00a0the center of the city, it sounds like a BMP or AA\u00a0guns.\r\n\r\n17:10 - Shots by a single tank can be heard from the center of the city.\r\n\r\n17:20 - Shelling by\u00a0heavy artillery can be heard from Chervonohvardiyski District.\r\n\r\n<strong>Shakhtarsk<\/strong>\r\n\r\nRoad accident involving militants\u00a0occurred\u00a0in front of the Fokstrot supermarket: an Ural military truck rammed\u00a0a\u00a0passenger bus departing\u00a0to Russia. No information about casualties.\r\n\r\n13:40 = Four BM-21 Grad MLRS passed towards Yenakiieve-Horlivka.\r\n\r\n14:47 -\u00a0Ural trucks with new tactical markings\u00a0(diamond with the number 11 inside)\u00a0appeared in the town.\r\n\r\n15:34 - One BMP passed to Torez.\r\n\r\n15:42 - MAZ-537 truck with an empty tanker\u00a0trailer passed to Torez.\r\n\r\n20:15 - Approximately 10 covered trucks accompanied by SUVs\u00a0with sirens drove from Donetsk eastwards.\r\n\r\n21:52 - A bus with militants, an\u00a0Ural truck, three BMP-2, and a Grad\u00a0MLRS passed towards Donetsk.\r\n\r\n<strong>Horlivka<\/strong>\r\n\r\nAround\u00a0midnight, a fight between Ukrainian servicemen and militants' sabotage-reconnaissance group took place near Zaytseve area.\r\n\r\n12:00 - Two BMPs passed on D. Zhloba Street towards Avtodrom.\r\n\r\n15:30 - Railroad\u00a0operation is now restored. A train with coal traveled over the Lenina Avenue bridge towards Mykytivka, Konstyantynivka.\r\n\r\nIn the area of \u201cKochegarka\u201d on B. Makukha Street two bridge sections were towed, there are claims that the bridge will be rebuilt by May 9.\r\n\r\n19:00 - \u201cKurhanka\u201d: gun salvos.\r\n\r\nIn the evening there\u00a0was an explosion near Horlivka district\u00a0administration building. Somebody threw a hand grenade from a\u00a0car under a\u00a0repair truck in 5th Block\u00a0near the building.\r\n\r\n<strong>Sector A <\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Shchastya<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe defensive\u00a0post of the Ukrainian Army near the town of Shchastya was shelled three times with 82mm\u00a0mortars. The positions of the Ukrainian army near Stanytsia Luhanska were fired at with\u00a0AA guns, automatic grenade\u00a0launchers, and small arms.\r\n\r\n<strong>Zolote<\/strong>\r\n\r\nA man triggered a tripwire mine just a few meters away from the bus stop of Rodina coal mine.\r\n\r\n<strong>Stakhanov<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe residents observed approximately 20 trucks with ammunition and militants moving from Bryanka towards Almazna.\r\n\r\nThree militants died the night before; they were buried today in the coffins made of MLRS Grad ammunition boxes.\r\n\r\nMilitants tell the residents that the offense is planned for May 10th and everything is ready.\r\n\r\n<strong>Molodohvardiysk<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe residents claim that they heard the sound of a helicopter flying to Luhansk, and after some time they also heard the noise of a moving armor convoy.\r\n\r\n<strong>Pervomaisk<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe residents say that their town is literally flooded with\u00a0tanks and BTRs. They never saw so many before.\r\n\r\n<strong>Alchevsk<\/strong>\r\n\r\nNo fuel was available at any of the eight gas stations between Alchevsk and Perevalsk for the whole day.\r\n\r\nAt 20:52 two loaded Grad MLRS passed towards Stakhanov.\r\n\r\n<strong>Luhansk<\/strong>\r\n\r\nA rehearsal\u00a0of militants\u2019 parade for May 9 took place in the city.\r\n\r\nA 23 year old woman was brutally killed in the township of Metalist; she was missing for five days. Allegedly she was raped, the cause of death were numerous wounds\u00a0as a result of severe beating. The woman is survived by her husband and a small child.\r\n\r\nAt 20:50 a\u00a0convoy with flags and militants on top of armored vehicles drove by.\r\n\r\nThe militants got paid in Luhansk. Huge sell-out at\u00a0the market: drunken militants have rubles and are buying everything.\r\n\r\n<strong>Krasnyi Luch<\/strong>\r\n\r\nFuel has disappeared at\u00a0the gas stations. \u201cThe authorities\u201d continue to pay pensions in rubles, bringing them directly to the homes of the residents. It seems all pensions in the occupied territories are paid with 50 ruble notes\u00a0of 1997\u00a0issue.\r\n\r\nAt 20:30 a large convoy of heavy weaponry, approximately 30 vehicles, possibly including self-propelled guns, passed from Novopavlivka.\r\n\r\n23:30 - Another\u00a0large convoy with approximately\u00a030 Grad MLRS from Novopavlivka.\r\n\r\n<strong>Antratsyt<\/strong>\r\n\r\nBy the order of LNR leadership the\u00a0gas price has been fixed at 18 hryvnya per liter of\u00a095 octane gas. As a result all gas stations have closed. The residents state that\u00a0a single gas station is working somewhere, but nobody knows which one. Operators of the other\u00a0gas stations\u00a0are waiting for the situation to change, since they would lose money on sales at the set price.\r\n\r\n<strong>Lutugine<\/strong>\r\n\r\n23:16 - A military convoy entered the village Rozkishne from Lutugine, it took the convoy\u00a0over 20 minutes to pass.\r\n\r\n<strong>Sectors B and M<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Hranitne<\/strong>\r\n\r\nFrom 6:00 to 8:30 the militants shelled the village Hranitne with mortars. The shells\u00a0exploded in the yards and gardens causing civilian\u00a0casualties.\r\n\r\n<strong>Shyrokyne<\/strong>\r\n\r\n14:20 - Militants fired at\u00a0the positions of the Azov regiment with\u00a0heavy machine guns and small arms.\r\n\r\n16:20 - A massive shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian Army.\r\n\r\n22:30 - Audible explosions and continuous shelling.
