Petro Dmytruk was born in Radisson, Saskatchewan in 1920 to a Ukrainian immigrant family. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in July 1941 to become one of the Europe&#8217;s war heroes.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance created videos telling stories of outstanding Ukrainians in the WW2. Directed by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UChV8weNCNmWE93qvxowe5ow\" target=\"_blank\">Oles Sanin<\/a><\/em>.
