On July 17 the coordinator of the ‘Information resistance’ group, the Ukrainian deputy,\u00a0Dmytro Tymchuk reported on his\u00a0<\/strong>facebook<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>that the escalation of subversion terrorist activity (‘small war’) was observed in the tactical and operative-tactical rears of the anti-terrorists operation (ATO) forces. We\u00a0believe that this may mean the preparation of the adversary to the active combat actions and the attempt to cut off the military logistics of\u00a0the\u00a0Ukrainian army\u00a0is ahead of it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the previous day we observed the fulfillment of combat tasks in the rears of the Ukrainian military forces by several subversion units\u00a0of the enemy\u00a0(mainly from the departments of the Russian GRU Special Forces).\u00a0In particular,\u00a0<\/strong>subversion groups actively mine the territory<\/strong>,<\/strong> hunt single Ukrainian servicemen and the transport convoys that move without protection.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To the west of Donetsk (on the border Marinka \u2013 Krasnogrivka \u2013 Pisky \u2013 Opytne \u2013 Avdiivka \u2013 Shumy) terrorists continue shooting from various weapons and\u00a0actively use the\u00a0armoured fighting vehicles. Near the town of Opytne the terrorists shooted from the 120-mm mortars, also they used the 122-mm artillery closer to\u00a0Avdiivka. The shootings from tanks and 2A13\u00a0ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft cannons were observed in the area of Krasnogrivka and Pisky.<\/p>\n

The enemy sniper groups continue shooting the positions of ATO forces from the bushes\u00a0in the area of Marinka and Krasnogrivka (a brick plant).<\/p>\n

In Primorsk direction (the area of Shyrokyne and between Gnutove and Talakivka) the terrorists continued shooting from the small arms and the usage of the 82-mm mortars was observed.<\/p>\n

The enemy\u00a0continues armed provocations and spontaneous shooting and also makes attempts to send sabotage\u00a0groups to the rear of the Ukrainian Army in the area of Shchastya. The terrorists actively use automatic grenade launchers 6G11 AGS-17 there for shooting and fire support of subversion groups\u2019 infiltration.<\/p>\n

Novotoshkivka and Krymske were shot from 122-mm artillery repeatedly during the day (mainly trying to affect the strongholds of the ATO forces).<\/p>\n

The terrorists also moved 6 tanks and 4 armored fighting\u00a0vehicles\u00a0(3 BMP-2 and 1 MT-LB) to the area of Donetsk airport.<\/p>\n

Also they move and regroup the\u00a0artillery in several places at the same time:<\/p>\n

\u2013 five 122-mm 2C1 ‘Gvozdika’\u00a0self-propelled mortars\u00a0were moved (1 BMP-1, 2 MT-LB \u0438 4 trucks were also there) in the direction of Shakhtarsk \u2013 Ilovaisk through Snizhne;<\/p>\n

\u2013 to the east of Panteleymonivka (in the triangle Panteleymonivka \u2013 Korsun \u2013 Shechenko) the ‘Information resistance’ group registered\u00a0the arrival\u00a0of six 122-mm D-30\u00a0cannons and the\u00a0appearance of\u00a0a\u00a0fire management\u00a0point;<\/p>\n

\u2013 the 122-mm BM-21 ‘Grad’ rocket launcher battery was moved\u00a0to Horlivka;<\/p>\n

\u2013 the terrorists moved artillery fire units (3 152-mm 2\u04213 ‘Akatsiya’\u00a0self-propelled mortars\u00a0and 3 122-mm BM-21 ‘Grad’ vehicles)\u00a0to the area of Perevalsk and Frunze (Bakhmut highway) ;<\/p>\n

\u2013 also the firing positions for the Russian terrorist artillery are prepared\u00a0in the area of Dokuchayisk and Styla. For the moment the artillery units themselves are located to the east of the line Mospine \u2013 Komsomolske (5 122-mm or 152-mm mortars, 8 D-30 devices of cannon\u00a0artillery and 8 BM-21 ‘Grad’ units\u00a0of rocket artillery)\u201d,\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Dmytro Tymchuk reports.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The shootings from tanks and 2A13\u00a0ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft cannons were observed in the area of Krasnogrivka and Pisky.<\/p>\r\nThe enemy sniper groups continue shooting the positions of ATO forces from the bushes\u00a0in the area of Marinka and Krasnogrivka (a brick plant).\r\n\r\nIn Primorsk direction (the area of Shyrokyne and between Gnutove and Talakivka) the terrorists continued shooting from the small arms and the usage of the 82-mm mortars was observed.\r\n\r\nThe enemy\u00a0continues armed provocations and spontaneous shooting and also makes attempts to send sabotage\u00a0groups to the rear of the Ukrainian Army in the area of Shchastya. The terrorists actively use automatic grenade launchers 6G11 AGS-17 there for shooting and fire support of subversion groups\u2019 infiltration.\r\n\r\nNovotoshkivka and Krymske were shot from 122-mm artillery repeatedly during the day (mainly trying to affect the strongholds of the ATO forces).\r\n\r\nThe terrorists also moved 6 tanks and 4 armored fighting\u00a0vehicles\u00a0(3 BMP-2 and 1 MT-LB) to the area of Donetsk airport.\r\n\r\nAlso they move and regroup the\u00a0artillery in several places at the same time:\r\n\r\n\u2013 five 122-mm 2C1 'Gvozdika'\u00a0self-propelled mortars\u00a0were moved (1 BMP-1, 2 MT-LB \u0438 4 trucks were also there) in the direction of Shakhtarsk \u2013 Ilovaisk through Snizhne;\r\n\r\n\u2013 to the east of Panteleymonivka (in the triangle Panteleymonivka \u2013 Korsun \u2013 Shechenko) the 'Information resistance' group registered\u00a0the arrival\u00a0of six 122-mm D-30\u00a0cannons and the\u00a0appearance of\u00a0a\u00a0fire management\u00a0point;\r\n\r\n\u2013 the 122-mm BM-21 'Grad' rocket launcher battery was moved\u00a0to Horlivka;\r\n\r\n\u2013 the terrorists moved artillery fire units (3 152-mm 2\u04213 'Akatsiya'\u00a0self-propelled mortars\u00a0and 3 122-mm BM-21 'Grad' vehicles)\u00a0to the area of Perevalsk and Frunze (Bakhmut highway) ;\r\n\r\n\u2013 also the firing positions for the Russian terrorist artillery are prepared\u00a0in the area of Dokuchayisk and Styla.
