In the course of another\u00a0OSINT-investigation by InformNapalm.org team on identification of concentration places of the\u00a0Russian military vehicles and troops\u00a0in Alchevsk (more information in the corresponding article<\/a>) pictures of the Ukrainian\u00a0\u2018Fortress on Wheels\u2019 KrAZ armored vehicle were found.<\/p>\n

This armored \u2018fortress\u2019-vehicle was developed by Kyiv research and production company\u00a0\u2018Praktika\u2019 in 2014. For the first time this armored car\u00a0was shown to the public during the 11th international exhibition \u2018Arms and Security\u2019. This vehicle was created on the base of four-wheel drive KrAZ car. The main feature\u00a0of the new armored vehicles was special location of the chairs in the armored shelter: the chairs were placed in the center. The fighters sit back to back and can shoot through the embrasures\u00a0during the movement. That is why this armored vehicle resembles a fortress and thus such a name appeared, reports<\/a> \u2018Moya Slobozhanshchyna\u2019.<\/p>\n
