The guarantee of Israel’s security is not in the agreement with Putin, but in withdrawal of the Russian military forces from Syria.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came to Moscow on a short visit in the middle of the\u00a0Judaic festive week between New Year and Judgement Day \u2014 this was even noticed by president Vladimir Putin. There were substantial reasons for this visit. Apparently, deployment\u00a0of the Russian military forces in Syria \u2014 the\u00a0Israeli Prime Minister would not be in Moscow if it was not so \u2014 became a serious threat\u00a0to the national security of Israel.<\/p>\n

The day\u00a0before this visit the ‘El Mundo’\u00a0newspaper wrote about the \u2018nightmare\u2019 of Netanyahu: drones register\u00a0in Syria a column carrying Iranian rockets for Hezbollah. The Israeli aviation strikes\u00a0killing several Russian servicemen by mistake. Putin falls into rage, a diplomatic crisis arises. Or even a gloomier scenario \u2014 a military collision between Israeli and Russian military servicemen.<\/p>\n

However, this is not a nightmare yet, because an agreement preventing such collisions can be made. It is no coincidence that Netanyahu came to Moscow together with heads of the General staff and military intelligence and stated\u00a0about the coordination framework establishment\u00a0between Tsahal and the Russian military forces. Though the main nightmare is what remains beyond these agreements.<\/p>\n

When Putin began invasion in Donbas, this operation was devised by him as a continuation of the hybrid war. There are no Russian military servicemen; there are just \u2018guerillas\u2019 and these \u2018guerillas\u2019 have modern\u00a0weaponry up to the \u2018Buk\u2019 complexes capable to shoot down Ukrainian military aircrafts\u00a0lest they eliminate the adversary groups. Who would think that one of the \u2018Buk’ complexes would shoot down a Malaysian liner? Even Putin could not predict\u00a0such course of events. Just the ‘monkeys\u00a0with hand grenades’ got the latest weapon, in particular – \u2018Buk\u2019 missiles. The result is known. And the reason is known too. It lies in the absence of what is considered in civilized world as \u2018state\u2019. Israel is\u00a0a state. Russia is not\u00a0a state. Putin can make any\u00a0decision, but it will be \u2018corrected\u2019 by the lack of discipline, disorganization, stupidity and corruption of the bureaucratic and military machine.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The basics of the Russian diplomacy<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

That is why there is no need to doubt: if modern\u00a0Russian weaponry\u00a0starts getting into the hands of Bashar Al-Assad, sooner or later\u00a0\u2014 rather sooner \u2014 these arms will come to hands of Hezbollah and other radical groups. Something will be bought, something will be stolen, and something will be gotten unofficially directly from Putin who wants to reach the status of the Middle East ruler. And sooner or later\u00a0the gun that Putin puts on the Middle East’s wall, will shoot. It can\u2019t fail to shoot. It will shoot at\u00a0Israel.<\/p>\n

That is why the Israeli politicians or experts who state\u00a0that the security of the Jewish state is connected with the necessity to reach the coordination of Putin\u2019s actions for the preservation of Assad’s regime as ‘the most adequate one’ lie to themselves, to their countrymen, and to the rest of the world. Because it is quite possible that Assad\u2019s enemies\u00a0are less adequate, but they don\u2019t have the modern\u00a0weapons that Putin decided to bring to Syria. They just don\u2019t have it. Whereas Assad has or will have it. And Hezbollah will have it soon. And other radicals will have it \u2014 everything is easily bought and sold in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

That is why the guarantee of the\u00a0security of Israel and\u00a0other countries of the region is not in the agreement with Putin, but in withdrawal of the Russian military forces from Syria, with or without Assad. And in the moratorium on the shipments of modern\u00a0arms to the sides of the conflict,\u00a0which\u00a0is definitely not followed\u00a0by Putin.<\/p>\n

Otherwise we will find ourselves on the edge of a big war or at least a big tragedy. This will be a much more serious tragedy than the loss of the Malaysian Boeing.<\/p>\n

Putin can make any\u00a0decision, but it will be \u2018corrected\u2019 by the lack of discipline, disorganization, stupidity and corruption of the bureaucratic and military machine.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_5590\" align=\"alignleft\" width=\"352\"]<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2015\/10\/21368722447.jpg\"><img class=\"wp-image-5590\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2015\/10\/21368722447.jpg\" alt=\"The basics of the Russian diplomacy\" width=\"352\" height=\"302\" \/><\/a> The basics of the Russian diplomacy[\/caption]\r\n\r\nThat is why there is no need to doubt: if modern\u00a0Russian weaponry\u00a0starts getting into the hands of Bashar Al-Assad, sooner or later\u00a0\u2014 rather sooner \u2014 these arms will come to hands of Hezbollah and other radical groups. Something will be bought, something will be stolen, and something will be gotten unofficially directly from Putin who wants to reach the status of the Middle East ruler. And sooner or later\u00a0the gun that Putin puts on the Middle East's wall, will shoot. It can\u2019t fail to shoot. It will shoot at\u00a0Israel.\r\n\r\nThat is why the Israeli politicians or experts who state\u00a0that the security of the Jewish state is connected with the necessity to reach the coordination of Putin\u2019s actions for the preservation of Assad's regime as 'the most adequate one' lie to themselves, to their countrymen, and to the rest of the world. Because it is quite possible that Assad\u2019s enemies\u00a0are less adequate, but they don\u2019t have the modern\u00a0weapons that Putin decided to bring to Syria. They just don\u2019t have it. Whereas Assad has or will have it. And Hezbollah will have it soon. And other radicals will have it \u2014 everything is easily bought and sold in the Middle East.\r\n\r\nThat is why the guarantee of the\u00a0security of Israel and\u00a0other countries of the region is not in the agreement with Putin, but in withdrawal of the Russian military forces from Syria, with or without Assad. And in the moratorium on the shipments of modern\u00a0arms to the sides of the conflict,\u00a0which\u00a0is definitely not followed\u00a0by Putin.\r\n\r\nOtherwise we will find ourselves on the edge of a big war or at least a big tragedy.
