The details of the\u00a0maneuvers of the Russian 66th separate signal\u00a0brigade were disclosed by a Russian serviceman of this unit who had been previously sent also on a &#8216;Rostov-Ukraine assignment&#8217;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this OSINT investigation we found out the personal\u00a0information about Ruslan Skaev a contract serviceman of the 66th separate\u00a0signal brigade (military unit No. 41600, 49th general army, Southern military District, Stavropol, Russia).<\/p>\n<p><strong>General information<\/strong>: <strong>Skaev Ruslan 66th brigade he participated in the hybrid war against Ukraine. This is proved by the photos uploaded by him on March 28 and April 28 of 2015. The first picture shows Ruslan Skaev posing together with his brothers-in-arms in front of provincial buildings, the personnel is in full battle gear wearing informal cloths (old Russian &#8216;flora&#8217; camouflage) and\u00a0without any insignia. The second picture shows the same people sitting around a table in a field camp and wearing\u00a0the same &#8216;flora&#8217; uniform, some have\u00a0masks put on. The photo is definitely &#8216;fresh&#8217; (taken in the\u00a0summer or fall of 2014) which is proved by the commendation letter for the <strong>&#8216;For military distinctions&#8217;<\/strong> medal No. <strong>3380<\/strong> on <strong>an order by Russia&#8217;s\u00a0Minister of Defense No. 809 from December 10, 2014, signed by colonel V. Two of them show flora not typical of\u00a0the Russian Northern Caucasus, also the appearance of the servicemen\u00a0is not formal. But InformNapalm proves the opposite with the help of facts:<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/web.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100001639854425&amp;pnref=story\">page<\/a> of Ruslan Skaev was found in the Facebook network (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/WmY3v\">archive<\/a>), where he uploaded the abovementioned pictures between December 13-18, 2015. There is also a picture of remainings of Soviet <strong>BTR-152<\/strong> APC, a real <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/WmY3v\">rarity<\/a> from 1950s. This type of armored vehicles has been removed\u00a0from service for several dozens of years already and cannot be found in the Russian army any more. But according to the open sources, <strong>up to 500 units of this vehicle were still in service of the Syrian army<\/strong> in 2010 (<em>refer to &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BTR-152\">BTR-152<\/a>&#8216; and &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Syrian_Army\">Syrian army<\/a>&#8216;<\/em>). Also we were able\u00a0to perform\u00a0georeferencing: the picture was taken to the South-East of Homs, <a href=\"http:\/\/wikimapia.org\/#lang=en&amp;lat=34.665251&amp;lon=36.791346&amp;z=19&amp;m=b&amp;search=34.667717%2C%2036.791936\">in the territory of a Syrian military base<\/a>, where assumably<strong> the signalmen from the Stavropol signal brigade were based<\/strong>. against Ukraine. This is proved by the photos uploaded by him on March 28 and April 28 of 2015. The first picture shows Ruslan Skaev posing together with his brothers-in-arms in front of provincial buildings, the personnel is in full battle gear wearing informal cloths (old Russian 'flora' camouflage) and\u00a0without any insignia. The second picture shows the same people sitting around a table in a field camp and wearing\u00a0the same 'flora' uniform, some have\u00a0masks put on. The photo is definitely 'fresh' (taken in the\u00a0summer or fall of 2014) which is proved by the commendation letter for the <strong>'For military distinctions'<\/strong> medal No. <strong>3380<\/strong> on <strong>an order by Russia's\u00a0Minister of Defense No. 809 from December 10, 2014, signed by colonel V. But InformNapalm proves the opposite with the help of facts:\r\n\r\nA <a href=\"https:\/\/web.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100001639854425&amp;pnref=story\">page<\/a> of Ruslan Skaev was found in the Facebook network (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/WmY3v\">archive<\/a>), where he uploaded the abovementioned pictures between December 13-18, 2015. There is also a picture of remainings of Soviet <strong>BTR-152<\/strong> APC, a real <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/WmY3v\">rarity<\/a> from 1950s. This type of armored vehicles has been removed\u00a0from service for several dozens of years already and cannot be found in the Russian army any more. But according to the open sources, <strong>up to 500 units of this vehicle were still in service of the Syrian army<\/strong> in 2010 (<em>refer to '<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BTR-152\">BTR-152<\/a>' and '<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Syrian_Army\">Syrian army<\/a>'<\/em>). Also we were able\u00a0to perform\u00a0georeferencing: the picture was taken to the South-East of Homs, <a href=\"http:\/\/wikimapia.org\/#lang=en&amp;lat=34.665251&amp;lon=36.791346&amp;z=19&amp;m=b&amp;search=34.667717%2C%2036.791936\">in the territory of a Syrian military base<\/a>, where assumably<strong> the signalmen from the Stavropol signal brigade were based<\/strong>.
