InformNapalm volunteer community continues the series of publications describing ‘tours of duty’ of various Russian military units which have taken part in\u00a0combat actions in Donbas. The following article is themed on the fairy tales by the leader of Kremlin’s criminal regime, who recently stated: “We have never said<\/strong>\u00a0that there were no certain persons in Donbas who handle problems, including the military ones. But there are no regular troops<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

So,\u00a0sit back and relax, since the InformNapalm team is going to\u00a0demonstrate another example of lies by the\u00a0deceitful political and military leadership of Russia – the ‘Ukrainian assignment’ of the 8th mountain brigade of the Russian Federation’s armed forces.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This new story is presented in an uncommon format, as a presentation of a military unit that has distinguished itself\u00a0in hostilities in Ukraine. In this case it is about\u00a0the 8th separate mountain motorized rifle brigade (military unit No. 16544, the 58th general army, Southern Military District, Borzoy, Republic of Chechnya, Russia)<\/strong>. All the servicemen listed below serve in this unit.<\/p>\n

Phase 1 – a detachment from the military unit No. 16544 with its equipment is sent to the border with Ukraine and located in a field camp.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to contract soldier\u00a0Aleksandr Subbotin<\/a> (archives of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>) we were able to keep track of the 8th brigade’s\u00a0equipment (MT-LB vehicles with ‘square with a dot’ tactical sign\u00a0characteristic to this brigade) loaded on a train – archive\u00a01 <\/a>and\u00a02<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The same kind of photos<\/a> can be found in the profile of Boris Ganin<\/a>\u00a0(archives of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), another serviceman of the 8th brigade.\u00a0The album also contains pictures<\/a> from a rest break of Putin’s ‘polite people’.<\/p>\n

We cannot say that these servicemen were forced to join this ‘Ukrainian trip’,\u00a0because the contract soldiers do not mind to carry out criminal orders of their Supreme Commander. The comments<\/a> under the\u00a0Andrei Latutin<\/a>‘s (archives of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>)\u00a0photo from the trip just confirm\u00a0our conclusion.<\/p>\n

Aleksandr Arkush<\/a>\u00a0(archives of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>), another serviceman, demonstrated\u00a0the conditions in which the ‘assigned’ soldiers lived in field camps in Rostov Oblast\u00a0in September, 2014. Photos 1 <\/a>and\u00a02<\/a>\u00a0showed the\u00a0equipment park near Taganrog city and the location of the \u0432\u0443\u0435\u0444\u0441\u0440\u044c\u0443\u0442\u0435\u00a0not far from khutor of Novoolkhovskiy (Kuibyshev raion, Rostov Oblast – 1<\/a>, 2<\/a>, 3<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Phase 2 –\u00a0Russian servicemen mutate into ‘militants’, weaponry and equipment become ‘the trophies’.\u00a0<\/strong>All the insignia are\u00a0gone, so you cannot identify a Russian\u00a0soldier any more, the equipment is decorated with inscriptions, flags are attached. Oleg Syshchuk<\/a> (archive of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>) has a picture<\/a> of MT-LB vehicle with Russian imperial flag. A photo of him together with his comrade-in-arms\u00a0Igor Rubtsov<\/a>\u00a0(archive of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>) can be found\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

Viktor Gornostaev<\/a>\u00a0(archive of profile<\/a>, album<\/a>, contacts<\/a>) has a photo album with the telling title ‘My job’ which includes photos<\/a> of a vehicle convoy flying\u00a0the same flags on march. One of the pictures<\/a> shows that some MT-LB units have the brigade’s signs removed\u00a0and new side numbers\u00a0manually added. Besides MT-LBs, the tactic signs were painted over on KamAZ trucks too (photo<\/a>).<\/p>\n
