Zenin: assistance to terrorists, offshore dealings and European vacations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In early June, the alliance of Ukrainian hacker groups \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/16FF255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>FalconsFlame<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/opstrinity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Trinity<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_ruhate_\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Ruh8<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> transferred to \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/InformNapalm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>InformNapalm<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong> international community a vast array of data extracted from hacked mail boxes and cloud storages of Russian journalists and propagandists. All of them are information warfare soldiers in the hybrid Russian aggression against Ukraine. InformNapalm volunteers do not share the ideology of mass data publications in the style of WikiLeaks. Therefore, we will be publishing the data in distinct portions, after a careful analysis. The decision about the publication or handover of data for further processing to the intelligence agencies of Ukraine and other countries\u00a0 will be taken for each portion of information individually.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"st-toggle\">\n<li class=\"\">\n<h3 class=\"toggle-title\">Foreword<i class=\"icon-plus\"><\/i><i class=\"icon icon-minus\"><\/i><\/h3>\n<div class=\"toggle-content\" style=\"display: none;\">\n<div class=\"txt-content\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On September 30, 2014 the Russian Channel One airs a sensational dispatch titled \u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Zv39Lc5oSVs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Donetsk airport remains a zone of tension.&#8221;<\/a> In it, a Russian propagandist follows Russian militants fighting in the area of Donetsk airport:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;When our crew came here with the OSCE two weeks ago, it was a normal nine-storey apartment house. Now, the house<\/em> <strong>has been evicted<\/strong><em>, because the Ukrainian army constantly shells residential neighborhoods here. There are only rebel fighters here. On one of the floors, an automatic grenade launcher operates in the direction of the airport. Ukrainian Army became active there again&#8221;, &#8211;<\/em> \u00a0 concludes the reporter.<\/p>\n<p>To combat the Ukrainian Army, militants choose to fire from that house. The journalist follows the terrorists through a stairwell, but suddenly in the supposedly empty house, some civilians get into the frame:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Look, I am seeing quite an amazing thing. It looks like a resident of this house &#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; Hello? Are you not afraid living here?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; No I&#8217;m not afraid\u2026&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Well, if this grandma is &#8220;not afraid&#8221; to live on the front line, then the gunmen will deliberately fire from her house, provoking return fire from Ukrainian army. Images, hitherto known to us only through reports from war-torn zones, are now coming now on Russian television from once peaceful Ukrainian Donetsk.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;AGS (heavy automatic grenade launcher) will now change its position again, because return fire can come in any time &#8230; The barrel, oh yeah, still warm!&#8221; &#8211;<\/em> \u00a0 says the Russian reporter.<\/p>\n<p>The Channel One propagandist kept his head in this situation, and even managed to turn such an obvious screw-up to the advantage of the Russian propaganda. The author of this epic dispatch is Sergey Zenin. There was another interesting character getting in the frame with him &#8211;\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/psb4ukr.org\/criminal\/gricyuk-dmitrij-anatolevich\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dmitry Gritsyuk<\/a> a contract soldier of the Russian Armed Forces, member of &#8220;Pyatnashka&#8221; armed group with a callsign &#8220;Sever&#8221;, infamous for his appetite for mutilating the bodies of the fallen Ukrainian servicemen and interrogating the POW&#8217;s on camera.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23550 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_019.png\" alt=\"Selection_019\" width=\"645\" height=\"363\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this investigation, we will focus on a few interesting details about the work of Sergey Zenin, a journalist and propagandist in the service of the state-owned Channel One of the Russian Federation. The preface to this publication showcases his role in the information assistance to Russian terrorists waging war in Donbas, therefore all of the information published below shall be regarded as a countermeasure to his propaganda activity.<\/p>\n<p>Russian media and leadership routinely use anti-European rhetoric, and in a recent speech to the residents of the occupied Crimea the\u00a0Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that &#8220;there was no money&#8221; and advised citizens to &#8220;hang in there and take care&#8221;. Therefore, we will also touch on the offshore dealings of Russian propagandists. We believe that the ubiquitous cronyism of the current Russian regime is one the main reasons why \u201cthere is no money\u201d for the ordinary Russian folks.<\/p>\n<p>Sergey Zenin, date of birth June, 19 1971, residing at: Moscow, Kosmodamianskaya embankment, 46-50, Building 1, apt. 177. According to the certificate of state registration, the apartment occupied by Zenin has a floor area of 111.4 square meters and is co-owned in equal shares by him and his son.<\/p>\n<p><em>Background information: an apartment in the same house, but with an area of 76 square meters<\/em> <em>\u00a0<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/RcFZl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>costs<\/em><\/a> <em>\u00a0<\/em> <em>25.3 million rubles, therefore Zenin&#8217;s apartment could be roughly valued at<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong>450,000 <\/strong><em>euros.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Travel passport: \u00a0 <strong>72 No3942168,<\/strong> \u00a0 valid until 04.04.2023. Sergey is employed as a correspondent for Channel One. It is ironic, but he did not go to freshly annexed Crimea for the summer vacations of 2014, but rather decided to take a holiday in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Blowing tens of thousands of euros on a holiday is not a problem for a Channel One journalist, though his official monthly salary is just about 1300 euros. He was on this project from November 2013 to January 2014. One of his e-mails contains an attachment with the draft summary of the dispatch (ANB.docx &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ANB.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download link<\/a>). It is noteworthy, that the draft mentions as consultant in the project an employee of ESET Russia, a company which has been recently implicated in assistance to Russian terrorists in Donbas. Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/jun01-eset-terrorists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESET Antivirus Company in Service of Donbas Terrorists<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/23527-antivirusnaya-kompaniya-eset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESET Antivirus Company responded to accusations of assistance to the DPR pro-Russian terrorists.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Judging by his e-mail exchange, Zenin resigned from RT on May 8, 2014, apparently as a result of the workplace conflict with Pavel Baidukov. Immediately after discharge, he bought a new car Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Probably out of grief.<\/p>\n<p>His first trip to the occupied territory of Ukraine dates back to June 2014, where he already acts as a reporter for Channel One. At this time, Zenin, as he puts it, &#8220;in anticipation of the arrival of very impolite people&#8221; and already having an accreditation of the Donetsk People&#8217;s Republic (DPR) terrorist organization, gets interested in obtaining an accreditation from SBU, the Ukrainian security agency.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23609 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_024.png\" alt=\"Selection_024\" width=\"704\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Why are journalists of the Russian Channel One get accreditation from DPR first, and only then think of the need to get accredited by Ukraine? Why do they go hand in hand with the militants on camera and are not wearing a well visible inscription &#8220;PRESS&#8221;? These questions are rather rhetorical.<\/p>\n<p>Communications with Moscow editorial office cost handsomely. In July alone, his number +380977607003 (Ukrainian mobile operator &#8220;Kyivstar&#8221;) made international calls to the amount of 1812.53 UAH, cost of calls within Ukraine were more modest &#8211; only 207.40 UAH. SMS-service cost 444.04 UAH.<\/p>\n<p>After the extreme trip to Ukraine, Zenin decides to spend August 2014 in Europe and flies to Marseille, France. And later he goes through Moscow to Geneva, Switzerland. While in Moscow, he makes the following note: &#8220;Out: 1,4814$. Outstanding for tomorrow or Friday: 13,536$. That will be: 28,350 or 30%.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23610 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_025.png\" alt=\"Selection_025\" width=\"569\" height=\"417\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The credit card statement reveals some details of Zenin&#8217;s stay in Europe: French resorts of Mandelieu-La-Napoule and Cannes, and then Swiss Geneva.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23611 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_026.png\" alt=\"Selection_026\" width=\"784\" height=\"754\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In September 2014, after a holiday on the French Riviera, Zenin goes on another &#8220;Ukrainian mission&#8221;, where he professionally spins for Russian propaganda machine, masking the facts of Russian military aggression. Journalist Zenin (DPR accreditation No116) completely overlooks the participation of more than 70 units of the Russian Armed Forces and Interior Ministry in the fighting in the Donbas, which by contrast, are very conspicuous to the Ukrainian journalists and volunteers. And what happened to the apartment of that grandma in a Donetsk apartment house? Channel One could not care less, because money has no smell for Russian journalists-propagandists, especially when it is a lot of money. If necessary for the sake of an impressive image, they will not hesitate to arrange another firing position in an apartment house; &#8220;the grandma is not afraid&#8221; after all&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>P.S. All of them are information warfare soldiers in the hybrid Russian aggression against Ukraine. InformNapalm volunteers do not share the ideology of mass data publications in the style of WikiLeaks. Therefore, we will be publishing the data in distinct portions, after a careful analysis. The decision about the publication or handover of data for further processing to the intelligence agencies of Ukraine and other countries\u00a0 will be taken for each portion of information individually.\r\n\r\n[toggle]\r\n[toggle_item title =\"Foreword\"]<strong>\r\n<\/strong>\r\n\r\nOn September 30, 2014 the Russian Channel One airs a sensational dispatch titled \u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Zv39Lc5oSVs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\"Donetsk airport remains a zone of tension.\"<\/a> In it, a Russian propagandist follows Russian militants fighting in the area of Donetsk airport:\r\n\r\n<em>\"When our crew came here with the OSCE two weeks ago, it was a normal nine-storey apartment house. Now, the house<\/em> <strong>has been evicted<\/strong><em>, because the Ukrainian army constantly shells residential neighborhoods here. There are only rebel fighters here. On one of the floors, an automatic grenade launcher operates in the direction of the airport. Ukrainian Army became active there again\", -<\/em> \u00a0 concludes the reporter.\r\n\r\nTo combat the Ukrainian Army, militants choose to fire from that house. The journalist follows the terrorists through a stairwell, but suddenly in the supposedly empty house, some civilians get into the frame:\r\n\r\n<em>\"Look, I am seeing quite an amazing thing. It looks like a resident of this house ...<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>- Hello? Are you not afraid living here?<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>- No I'm not afraid\u2026\"<\/em>\r\n\r\nWell, if this grandma is \"not afraid\" to live on the front line, then the gunmen will deliberately fire from her house, provoking return fire from Ukrainian army. Images, hitherto known to us only through reports from war-torn zones, are now coming now on Russian television from once peaceful Ukrainian Donetsk.\r\n\r\n<em>\"AGS (heavy automatic grenade launcher) will now change its position again, because return fire can come in any time ... The barrel, oh yeah, still warm!\" -<\/em> \u00a0 says the Russian reporter.\r\n\r\nThe Channel One propagandist kept his head in this situation, and even managed to turn such an obvious screw-up to the advantage of the Russian propaganda. The author of this epic dispatch is Sergey Zenin. There was another interesting character getting in the frame with him -\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/psb4ukr.org\/criminal\/gricyuk-dmitrij-anatolevich\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dmitry Gritsyuk<\/a> a contract soldier of the Russian Armed Forces, member of \"Pyatnashka\" armed group with a callsign \"Sever\", infamous for his appetite for mutilating the bodies of the fallen Ukrainian servicemen and interrogating the POW's on camera.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"size-full wp-image-23550 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_019.png\" alt=\"Selection_019\" width=\"645\" height=\"363\" \/>\r\n\r\n[\/toggle_item]\r\n[\/toggle]\r\n\r\nIn this investigation, we will focus on a few interesting details about the work of Sergey Zenin, a journalist and propagandist in the service of the state-owned Channel One of the Russian Federation. The preface to this publication showcases his role in the information assistance to Russian terrorists waging war in Donbas, therefore all of the information published below shall be regarded as a countermeasure to his propaganda activity.\r\n\r\nRussian media and leadership routinely use anti-European rhetoric, and in a recent speech to the residents of the occupied Crimea the\u00a0Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that \"there was no money\" and advised citizens to \"hang in there and take care\". Therefore, we will also touch on the offshore dealings of Russian propagandists. We believe that the ubiquitous cronyism of the current Russian regime is one the main reasons why \u201cthere is no money\u201d for the ordinary Russian folks.\r\n\r\nSergey Zenin, date of birth June, 19 1971, residing at: Moscow, Kosmodamianskaya embankment, 46-50, Building 1, apt. 177. According to the certificate of state registration, the apartment occupied by Zenin has a floor area of 111.4 square meters and is co-owned in equal shares by him and his son.\r\n\r\n<em>Background information: an apartment in the same house, but with an area of 76 square meters<\/em> <em>\u00a0<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/RcFZl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>costs<\/em><\/a> <em>\u00a0<\/em> <em>25.3 million rubles, therefore Zenin's apartment could be roughly valued at<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong>450,000 <\/strong><em>euros.<\/em>\r\n\r\nTravel passport: \u00a0 <strong>72 No3942168,<\/strong> \u00a0 valid until 04.04.2023. He was on this project from November 2013 to January 2014. One of his e-mails contains an attachment with the draft summary of the dispatch (ANB.docx - <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ANB.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download link<\/a>). It is noteworthy, that the draft mentions as consultant in the project an employee of ESET Russia, a company which has been recently implicated in assistance to Russian terrorists in Donbas. Read more:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/en\/jun01-eset-terrorists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESET Antivirus Company in Service of Donbas Terrorists<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/23527-antivirusnaya-kompaniya-eset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESET Antivirus Company responded to accusations of assistance to the DPR pro-Russian terrorists.<\/a>\r\n\r\nJudging by his e-mail exchange, Zenin resigned from RT on May 8, 2014, apparently as a result of the workplace conflict with Pavel Baidukov. Immediately after discharge, he bought a new car Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Probably out of grief.\r\n\r\nHis first trip to the occupied territory of Ukraine dates back to June 2014, where he already acts as a reporter for Channel One. At this time, Zenin, as he puts it, \"in anticipation of the arrival of very impolite people\" and already having an accreditation of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) terrorist organization, gets interested in obtaining an accreditation from SBU, the Ukrainian security agency.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<img class=\"size-full wp-image-23609 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_024.png\" alt=\"Selection_024\" width=\"704\" height=\"425\" \/>\r\n\r\nWhy are journalists of the Russian Channel One get accreditation from DPR first, and only then think of the need to get accredited by Ukraine? Why do they go hand in hand with the militants on camera and are not wearing a well visible inscription \"PRESS\"? These questions are rather rhetorical.\r\n\r\nCommunications with Moscow editorial office cost handsomely. In July alone, his number +380977607003 (Ukrainian mobile operator \"Kyivstar\") made international calls to the amount of 1812.53 UAH, cost of calls within Ukraine were more modest - only 207.40 UAH. SMS-service cost 444.04 UAH.\r\n\r\nAfter the extreme trip to Ukraine, Zenin decides to spend August 2014 in Europe and flies to Marseille, France. And later he goes through Moscow to Geneva, Switzerland. While in Moscow, he makes the following note: \"Out: 1,4814$. Outstanding for tomorrow or Friday: 13,536$. That will be: 28,350 or 30%.\"\r\n\r\n<img class=\"size-full wp-image-23610 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_025.png\" alt=\"Selection_025\" width=\"569\" height=\"417\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe credit card statement reveals some details of Zenin's stay in Europe: French resorts of Mandelieu-La-Napoule and Cannes, and then Swiss Geneva.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"size-full wp-image-23611 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/informnapalm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Selection_026.png\" alt=\"Selection_026\" width=\"784\" height=\"754\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn September 2014, after a holiday on the French Riviera, Zenin goes on another \"Ukrainian mission\", where he professionally spins for Russian propaganda machine, masking the facts of Russian military aggression. Journalist Zenin (DPR accreditation No116) completely overlooks the participation of more than 70 units of the Russian Armed Forces and Interior Ministry in the fighting in the Donbas, which by contrast, are very conspicuous to the Ukrainian journalists and volunteers. And what happened to the apartment of that grandma in a Donetsk apartment house? Channel One could not care less, because money has no smell for Russian journalists-propagandists, especially when it is a lot of money. If necessary for the sake of an impressive image, they will not hesitate to arrange another firing position in an apartment house; \"the grandma is not afraid\" after all...\r\n\r\nP.S.
