Russian botnet from German servers continues to attack InformNapalm.org

    on 12/16/2014 | | Main News | News

During the last day there were more than four thousand cyber-attacks on the server where https://informnapalm.org lives.

We even counted the number and formal territorial affiliation of the attacking servers. # Botnet from Russian special services spread from China to the United States, and only 192 attacks from more than 4000 went directly from Russia. The majority of the attacks, approximately 1787, originated … in Germany. This is significant because it potentially demonstrates how vulnerable the servers located in Germany are against Russian spyware.

In its turn, we understand that since InformNapalm warrants attention from the Russian cyber warfare services (whether official government or paid hackers), it means the work of our team is considered destructive to Russia’s aims in Ukraine. This means that we are on the right direction.

So we would like to thank Irakli Komaxidze, Artem Vasilenko and many, many others who have been openly or secretly working with us in collection, processing and writing up information for the InformNapalm project. We would also like to express our gratitude to our administrator, who is alone in coping with the neutralization of the flurry of recent attacks.

If there are attacks from german servers, please contact their hosters. You have a good chance to stop these Denial-of-service attacks immediately.
