Conscripts from Kamenka, Russia Are Preparing to “Get Lost”

    on 02/06/2015 | | News | Russian Military Assessment

According to the information from a Russian activist, a member of the Facebook group “We are together” Albert Liberman, the 138th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Western Military District has been sent to Ukraine. Mr. Liberman stated that about 70% of the brigade is made up of newly recruited conscripts, and it would be worth giving a hint to their mothers in Saint Petersburg about their children’s assignment.

Detachments of the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade were discovered in the Rostov group of Russian invasion forces back in the fall of 2014. Specifically, an artillery unit of this brigade was identified.  Later, mechanized infantry and reconnaissance units of the same brigade were observed in Rostov Oblast. By the end of December, 2014, partial rotation of troops and military equipment from units of the 138th brigade stationed in Rostov Oblast was performed.

Having said that, we recommend to the mothers from St. Petersburg and other Russian regions to listen to the words of Mr. Liberman and take measures of calling off their kids from the “Rostov assignment”. Otherwise, they may turn out among the next ones who get lost in Donbas, and besides, getting lost can cost them their lives.
