Yesterday officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detained a citizen of the Russian Federation near the border in the Donetsk region. The resident of Altai intended to join the ranks of terrorist groups.

During the investigation it was established that the 64 years old Russian had illegally crossed the state border. According to him, he entered Ukraine at night and was heading to Donetsk to participate in the armed hostilities on the side of terrorists.

The appropriate authorities have been informed about this fact; the detainee will be handed over to them. In addition, the detainee will be charged for violation of the Ukrainian state border.
