A Russian Soldier Provides Information on the Involvement of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Supplying Heavy Weapons to the Terrorist Militia in Ukraine

    on 08/28/2014 | | Main News | News

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a Private of the 9th Independent Motor Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Luhansk Oblast. This Russian Brigade is based in the Rostov region bordering Luhansk Oblast.

The Russian serviceman, Petr S. Khokhlov (1995 YOB) during interrogations told that his military unit transfers military equipment and ammunition (in particular, MLRS BM-21 “Grad”, BMP-2 amphibious infantry fighting vehicles, BTR-80 amphibious armored personnel carriers) to the LPR and DPR terrorist organizations.

In order to hide the involvement of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Russian servicemen are ordered by their commanders to physically destroy factory marks, numbers, symbols and logos on the equipment that is to be transferred to the terrorists. Basically everything that would allow the origin of the equipment to be identified is removed.

Evidence of the Russian serviceman was recorded on the video:
