The Security Services Detained a Russian Instructor Providing Support to Terrorists in Ukraine

    on 08/29/2014 | | Main News | News

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a citizen of the Russian Federation, Sergey G. Chernysh, who was involved in terrorist activities in Ukraine.

The citizen of the Russian Federation along with other mercenaries illegally crossed the state border of Ukraine with the assistance of the Russian border guards in the Rostov region (Russia). In Ukraine the mercenaries were met by the LPR terrorists with the leader nicknamed “Abkhaz”.

Chernysh, who has military combat experience, served as the instructor to the Russian backed militants. He also coordinated the actions of Russian militant groups and several times assisted them to escape ATO forces that were closing in.

The Russian ‘mercenary’ was detained in the middle of August while on a special mission searching for a Ukrainian pilot who had ejected from a jet shot down by the Russian backed terrorists.

The detainee is in custody, investigatory actions are in progress.
