We continue registration of facts, which disclose mechanisms of arms and equipment supply for both air and ground operations of the Russian armed forces in Syria and other countries, where the Russian command believes that the Russian interference is necessary.
This time our OSINT investigation was conducted with a help of a serviceman of Stavropol automobile battalion Dmitry Romakh (archive). His place of service is the military unit No. 63143 (Stavropol, 29a Krupska St.). Dmitry has published several pictures in his social network profile, which show the route of ammunition supply to port of Novorossiysk.
On November 1, 2015, he published a few pictures of transportation cases for aviation bombs. Those pictures had geotags – Sukhumskoe shosse St., Novorossiysk, Russia.
Just for comparison, here are the pictures of aviation bomb cases.
On November 3, 2015, Dmitry published another set of pictures, which showed the ‘Nikolay Filchenkov’ LPD together with the automobile battalion equipment – KamAZ trucks with the following license plate Nos.: 3567КВ21 2, 3564КВ21, 3576КВ21.
Next, we have even more interesting facts: on November 6, Dmitry uploaded a picture of an army truck skip filled with cases. Presumably, those were 152 mm artillery shells, the cases had explosives identification inscription BB A-IX-2 (hexal). The geotag of the picture was the same – Sukhumskoe shosse St., Novorossiysk.
Later Dmitry published a set of pictures, which showed a process of unloading of the ammunition from railway carriages to automobile battalion trucks. Geotag pointed at Zheleznodorozhnaya St., Verkhnebakanski settlement.
We can conclude that Stavropol automobile battalion transports artillery and aviation bombs from the railway station of Verkhnebakanski settlement to the port of Novorossiysk, where that ammunition is loaded on cargo ships.
As it has been reported before, the InformNapalm international volunteer movement had registered participation of 152 mm ‘Msta-B’ howitzers from the 120th and the 291st artillery brigades in the Russian ground operation in Syria. This way, now we know that in order to supply the Russian artillery units mentioned above some ammunition is transported through the sea route from Novorossiysk’s port.

In late September InformNapalm already presented tables and infographics, which prove a constant increase of traffic of the ‘Syrian express’, where large landing crafts of the Russian fleet are used.

This way, it is very important to identify the logistical centers of the war in which the Russian Federation conducts an operation of killing civilians and destroying the forces of moderate Syrian opposition.
