The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a resident of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) who collected intelligence information on the ATO forces and passed it to an officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation known as “Max”.

“Ya”, a citizen of Ukraine, 1972 YOB, collected information on the number of personnel, type and amount of weapons and military equipment of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The spy also tracked flights of Ukrainian military aircrafts and reported them to his supervisor.

SBU has initiated criminal proceedings in terms of Article 111, Paragraph 1 (High Treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
