The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) detained a militant in Chernihiv. The militant (call sign “Ryzhyi” – “red-haired”) participated in the armed conflict in May-June, 2014 on the side of the terrorist organization, the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

It was established that this 21 years old citizen of Ukraine was part of the armed group that guarded the self-proclaimed “mayor” V.Ponomarev and the captured Slovyansk City Council building.

In addition, the militant along with other mercenaries was sent to Torez and Semenivka; in these settlements he participated in the fighting against Ukrainian military for money.

The SSU officers found photos and certificates which confirm that the detainee belongs to the DPR terrorists.
