During the day, the Joint Forces units strictly adhered to the ceasefire regime. However, the enemy had violated the ban on using all arms four times.

The armed units from the Russian Federation and the Russian mercenaries fired at our defenders’ positions with automated grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactic force “EAST,” the adversary fired at the Joint Forces’ positions twice:

Near PAVLOPIL village from the direction of UKRAYINSKE village – with a heavy machine gun;

Near KRASNOHORIVKA village from the direction of TRUDIVSKE village – with a heavy machine gun.

In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactic force “NORTH,” the adversary fired at the Joint Forces’ positions twice:

Near POPASNE village from the direction of MOLODIZHNE village – using an automated grenade launcher and small arms;

In the vicinity of KRYMSKE village from the direction of PRYSHYB village – using a heavy machine gun.

As a result of the enemy fire, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded.

On July 31, the Joint Forces units strictly adhered to the ceasefire regime.

On the contrary, the armed units from the Russian Federation and the Russian mercenaries have violated the ban on the use of all arms 11 times. Of these, 4 times the weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements were used, namely, 82-mm mortars. The adversary also fired at our defenders with various types of grenade launchers, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

The facts of disturbing fire were documented bear the villages of PISKY, VODIANE, LEBEDYNSKE, SHYROKYNE, BOHDANIVKA, PAVLOPIL, HNUTOVE, NOVOHNATIVKA and ZOLOTE-4.

On July 31, representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces have uncovered 6 thefts, 1 case of fraud, and 10 cases of illegal narcotics possession. One person was arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the armed units from the Russian Federation and the Russian mercenaries and transferred to the judicial organs. Seventeen misdemeanors were documented.

Yesterday, more than 16,000 persons and 2,000 vehicles entered the jurisdiction of the Joint Forces through points of the controlled entry. Seventeen thousand and 900 persons and 2,100 vehicles exited through the same points. Twenty-six persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.

The military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the Joint Forces’ control. The Joint Forces units are ready to fulfill their tasks!
