Our sources in the Defense Ministry report that repositioning of Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation communication specialists towards the border with Ukraine was noticed. Russian signalmen were transferred to the Russian border city of Kamensk-Shahtinskii which is located near the border checkpoint “Izvarino” in Krasnodon (Luhansk region). Recall that pro-Russian militants in Krasnodonsk have already set up two roadblocks on the major roadways from Ukraine. Thus the way from the Russian territory via Izvarino is now fully open for arms smuggling and transfer of Russian militants. It is noteworthy that the main task (besides special communication organization) of the transferred to Kamensk-Shahtinskii FSO specialists is optoelectronic intelligence and reconnaissance using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
Besides Karsnodon there is a problem with the border zone near Krasny Luch (Luhansk region). There was a breach (6 KAMAZes and 1 URAL with weapons and people) reported in that area. These border towns require increased attention from the anti-terrorist operation. If these paths are not closed, then the violent conflict in the Donbass will be constantly fed by new terrorist forces from the Russian Federation.
