Memory Eternal to another Hero of Ukraine laid to rest today after being killed by Russian terrorists this week – Gennady Bilichenko.
Special Officer of SSU “Alpha”, Gennady Bilichenko, was killed by Russian commandos on April 13th. The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal investigation on charges of terrorism and murder, and these persons will be announced on the international wanted list.
“During preparations for the anti-terrorist operation by the SSU employees a car approached from which the shots were fired from automatic weapons on our officers, who held talks with the local population. Officer Gennady Bilichenko was hit by a bullet and he died on the spot. Were also injured and the other officers, but since they are soon back in operation, their names were not disclosed, “Yarema.
Bilichenko leaves behind a 13-year-old son, wife and mother. He was 42 years old.
