Today, June 7, volunteers wiretapping closed Zello channels in which terrorists and their accomplices exchange operational information, reported that an unidentified group of people carrying out partisan activity against Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) militants was seen on Kharkiv-Rostov highway (known as highway #13 in Soviet times).
Accomplices of terrorists are panicking because just today they have lost 5 fighters due to those partisans. At the same time it is noted that it is local residents who are likely to be engaged in partisan activity because their attacks on DPR checkpoints are well organized with respect to terrain orientation (which is not typical for non-local people) and occur without any losses. The tactics of the partisan group is not typical for the regular and newly formed national guard, Right Sector and territorial defense units.
We previously saw the cases when separatists complained in Zello channels on disappearance of their people in the occupied areas; this was often attributed to the actions of special services but having analyzed the messages from the locals and volunteers in the east of Ukraine, we came to the conclusion that independent partisan cells fighting the terrorists and separatists start to appear in the Donbas. Obviously this happens not because of great love to Ukraine or due to patriotic appeals but rather at the household level: the constant increase of repression and looting facts in relation to the local population by pro-Russian militants led to a backlash. This precedent creates a new milestone in the history of confrontation in the Donbas.
We ask all residents to report information about the facts of partisan actions against DPR terrorists. This information will form the basis of the chronology of events of the liberation war against Russian invaders.
