Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation opened fire on the positions of our troops using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, particularly, 122-mm caliber artillery systems, 120- and 82-mm mortars, and also grenade launchers of the various systems and small arms.

In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “EAST” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces units 4 times:

Twice, near the village of VODIANE, from the direction of UZHIVKA – using 122-mm caliber artillery systems and grenade launchers of the various systems;

Near LEBEDYNSKE, from the direction of UZHIVKA – using small arms;

In the vicinity of MARYINKA, from the direction of OLEKSANDRIVKA – using grenade launchers of the various systems.

In the area of responsibility of the operative-tactical group “NORTH,” the adversary opened fire on the Joint Forces units 4 times:

Twice – near the village of NOVOLUHANSKE, from the direction of DOLOMITNE – using 82-mm caliber mortars;
Near PIVDENNE, from the direction of GAGARIN MINE – using an 120-mm caliber mortar;

Near MAYORSK, from the direction of the MINE 6-7 – using a tripod-mounted anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms.

The enemy fire did not result in any casualties on our side. Our units responded adequately to each case when the fire was opened by the Russian Federation troops. The adversary’s casualties are being investigated.

Over July 7, the armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces have opened fire 16 times. Of these, 6 times the fire was opened using weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, including weapons carried by tanks, 120- and 82-mm caliber mortars. The adversary also used grenade launchers of the various systems, weapons carried by armored vehicles of the infantry, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

The facts of disturbing fire opened by the adversary were documented near the towns and villages of SHYROKYNE, BOHDANIVKA, VODIANE, KRASNOHORIVKA, PYSHCHEVYK, NOVOLUHANSKE, POPASNA, ZOLOTE-4, MAYORSK, and PIVDENNE.

Over July 7, the representatives of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine acting as parts of the Joint Forces have revealed 1 murder, 1 robbery, 2 thefts and 6 cases of illegal drugs possession. Five persons were arrested on suspicion of participating in the activities of the armed units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces and transferred to judicial organs. Fourteen misdemeanors were documented.

Yesterday, more than 17,000 persons and 2,300 vehicles have entered the Joint Forces jurisdiction through the controlled points of entry. Fifteen thousand five hundred persons and 1,900 vehicles have exited the jurisdiction through the same points. Twenty-three persons were denied the right to cross the demarcation line.

Military and civilian administrative and judicial organs worked according to their routine schedules. The social, political, and humanitarian situation remains under the control of the Joint Forces.
