Members of the German national parliament had a meeting with the ringleader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko and other militants of DPR terrorist organization.
Two members of the Bundestag visited the illegally occupied territory of the Donetsk Oblast according to Ukrainian MP Volodymyr Ariev. He wrote about this in his Twitter. The Germans concerned are the representatives of the Die Linke [the Left Party] Wolfgang Gerke and Andrej Hunko. Furthermore, Mr. Hunko is the representative of Germany to the PACE.
On a joint photo Bundestag representatives are standing next to the self-proclaimed leader of the so-called DPR Alexander Zakharchenko and other militants. German parliamentarians from Die Linke arrived to the territory of Ukraine (currently illegally controlled by DPR) from the territory of Russia without completing any Ukrainian border formalities.
As it was reported earlier, Alexander Zakharchenko was wounded during the street fighting in Debaltseve.

Tobias Weihmann“Furthermore, Mr. Hunko is the representative of Germany to the PACE.” — not “the”, “a”. Germany has 18 representatives to PACE. By PACE rules the country delegation must reflect the balance in the national parliament. Foreign policy is not exactly the German Left parties strength, that’s why they nominated weirdos such a Hunko.
