The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ceasefire and Stabilization of the Line of Demarcation reports that despite the Additional Agreements on full and comprehensive ceasefire, which came into force on July 27, 2020, the illegal armed formations of the Occupied Regions of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts (ORDLO) controlled by the Russian Federation, continue to systematically violate the existing agreements and to conduct minefield laying operations in the vicinity of civilian settlements and delivering military equipment across the border away from border checkpoints.

According to the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) report published on September 3, 2020, a monitoring flight by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the territory not controlled by the Government of Ukraine located 23 anti-tank mines laid across a taxiway at the destroyed Donetsk International Airport. Also, a military type truck was identified in a field approximately two and a half kilometres northwest of the village of Astakhove, Luhansk Oblast near the border with the Russian Federation, where there are no border crossing installations.

These cases confirm that the Minsk agreements and the measures reached on 07/22/2020 to strengthen the ceasefire regime continue to be violated by illegal armed formations located in the ORDLO.
