On September 17, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Counterintelligence detained a citizen of the Russian Federation V.Remnyakov (1952 YOB) in Kostiantynivka. The detainee gathered intelligence information on movements of the ATO forces and passed it to the so-called “hot line of the Donetsk People’s Republic”.

It was established that the detainee gathered and passed to the criminals of the DPR terrorist organization intelligence information on disposition, personnel, armament and movements in Kostiantynivka (Donetsk region) of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and of other volunteer battalions participating in the anti-terrorist operation. He dictated this information to a communication agent in the DPR headquarters.
