The InformNapalm international volunteer community has identified the location of a moving convoy of special military vehicles of the Russian occupation forces in Makiivka.

    2015-11-15_123340-map!

On November 14, 2015, a twit was posted:  “The convoy: 10 KamAZ trucks with KUNG (of which at least two – command vehicles with antennas), one tanker and one awning KamAZ coming from Donetsk Airport”.

At the end of the same day, a video was posted showing the convoy leaving Makiivka and taking road N-21. Artemida gas station is visible on the video, located on General Danilov Avenue. Judging by the title of the video, the column of vehicles turned towards the town of Sverdlovo.

Bad quality of the video prevented precise identification of military equipment, but it is clear that the convoy consisted of 17 vehicles. They are listed below according to the time of the recording:

    1. 03 sec – Mustang with a tent
    2. 05 sec – Mustang with a tent
    3. 10 sec – Mustang with a tent and something of irregular shape on top
    4. 15 sec – KUNG [Shelter] with a platform on top
    5. 20 sec – KUNG with a platform
    6. 23 sec – KUNG without a platform
    7. 27 sec – KUNG with a platform
    8. 28 sec – KUNG without a platform
    9. 35 sec – KUNG with a platform
    10. 37 sec – KUNG with a platform
    11. 41 sec – KUNG without a platform
    12. 44 sec – KUNG with a platform
    13. 45 sec – KUNG without a platform
    14. 46 sec – regular KamAZ truck with a tent
    15. 51 sec – tanker
    16. 58 sec – Mustang with a tent
    17. 1 minute 04 sec – KUNG without a platform

KUNG is an Russian abbreviation for ‘Unified Standard (Normal) Size Hull’. They are designed to accommodate personnel, laboratories, repair shops, field kitchens, radio-electronic systems (electronic warfare), medical aid units and other things.

Note, that some of them very strongly are reminiscent of the ‘Torn’ radio intelligence complex,  identified by our team, that was seen around Donetsk Airport and later at Sparta Base in Donetsk.

What is it: a withdrawal, rotation or just another evil plan of the Kremlin – we don’t know.
