‘Novorossiya Miners’ Use Russian ‘Granat’ Drones

We continue the project of disclosing and identification of the modern Russian inventory and weaponry used by the “Novorossiya militants’. The OSINT investigation have already discovered various communications, electronic warfare and intelligence gears which had been noticed in different regions of the occupied Donbas. Those gears included the latest Russian military industrial sector researches, which could never be bought by ‘miners’ in a military store.

Another example of such inventory was posted yesterday by Mihail Net. The modern Russian drones ‘Granat-1’ and ‘Granat-2’ used in Donbas were disclosed by a Russian propagandist in a video. The footage contains scenes where Russian servicemen use the drones during military actions near Debaltseve in February, 2015.

P.S. Mihail summarizes the video: “‘Miners’ bought a drone in a military store (even better – captured a Ukrainian one) and learned how to pilot it on the professional operator level by reading the manuals.”
